Kind of obsessed over how the Dao soundtrack refers to the Warden vrs how the Datv soundtrack refers to Rook.
Like in Dao from the get go you understand that you are one of the last Grey Wardens in Fereldan. One of the few capable of stopping this Archdemon threat. The other Grey Wardens are either avoidant of leadership to an almost pathological degree or locked up in a prison where you don’t even know he exists for 90% of the game. YOU are the one who has to stop the blight. YOU are calling the shots. YOU are the Hero of Fereldan.
Meanwhile in Datv Rook was never supposed to lead the Veilguard, Varric was. For most of the game Rook is convinced that not only are they failing Varric as their team squabbles in the background, but that this is a temporary appointment. They’re not the REAL leader, they’re just filling in til Varric gets back on his feet. In the Regret Prison, Rook can lament that they need Varric and can’t lead the team without him only to be told that’s what they’ve been doing the whole time. Rook isn’t a chosen one, but they are the one Varric chose.

earlier this week Twitter user ppuccin0 tweeted about a fashion article that advised against tops with large floral patterns, saying the wearer was in danger of looking like a "ロマンティックおばさん," or a "romantic auntie." the tweet went viral with many agreeing that a "romantic auntie" sounded like a very nice thing to aspire to be, and some even posted illustrations or photos tagged with the trend

Honestly I think one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself is to separate your negative qualities from your identity.
Instead of saying “I’m lazy,” saying “I’ve made a habit of not doing work unless it’s absolutely necessary.” Instead of saying “I’m a bad friend,” saying “I haven’t communicated as much as I should with the people I care about.”
By being specific about your problems, and by framing it as an action that you are consciously either working on or ignoring rather than an unchangeable part of who you are, you allow yourself to accept your mistakes and work constructively on them instead of pretending they didn’t happen or wallowing in blaming yourself.
