“BOO!” Your best friend, Doyoung yelled into your ears as he softly pushed you. You turned around and faced him, shooting eye daggers at him. “Chill, I was just messing with you” Doyoung said as he pushed your feet off of the empty chair near you so he could sit. “Are you going to Jaehyun’s party tonight” he said as you looked up from your phone, “I have to study for a test tomorrow and you should too! Ms.Kim said it’s 70% of our grade for this semester” you said as he groaned in annoyance. “Cmon, you never come to parties. Can’t you come this one time” Doyoung pleaded sticking his pointer finger up to next to his face as he pouted. “Ughh, fine but you have to buy me boba for a week” you said with a playful smile, as you turned off your phone. “Okay Deal!” Doyoung says jumping up from his seat.

TIME SKIP

“I can’t walk you home tonight, sorry. But you’re still coming to the party right?” Doyoung said as he rubbed his nape. You looked at him and nodded, “it’s fine..and of course Im going, after all I get free boba” you said softly punching his shoulder. He gave a smile before running out the entrance of the school. If you were to be honest, you had feelings for that kid for a year now, but you always kept it on a low.

Reaching your house, you ran to your bedroom and searched through your drawers for some outfits you could wear to the party. You were never a party person, so your drawer were mostly hoodies and t shirts.....after 5 minutes, you finally picked out an outfit. A light pink crop top that fell off the shoulders paired with light blue high waisted jeans. Looking into the mirror, you admire the outfit you took forever to pick out.

*Ring ring ring*

Your head shot towards your phone, you walked towards it and seeing the call was from Doyoung. “When are you going to come?” He said as you went to put on your shoes. “I’m heading out right now, chill” you said as you grabbed your coat and keys, before heading out the door.

Reaching your destination, you opened the door, the room was filled with people partying and laughing. You already felt like a misfit. You squeezed into the crowd, looking for Doyoung. You heard his laughter, from the far corner. You let out a sigh of relief before walking over there, seeing him your eyes lit up. But he didn’t seem to notice you, “yeah, Y/n? She’s nothing to me bro. I’m only using her to get good grades” Doyoung said as he and his group started laughing. You couldn’t move, you stood there in shock, letting everyone sink in. You suddenly felt your heart shatter, as tears started to form in your eyes about to fall.

You didn’t want it believe this, you’ve made eye contact with one of the boys from Doyoung’s group of friends. His smile dropped as he tapped Doyoung’s shoulder, pointing in your direction. Doyoung turned his head in your direction, you made eye contact with the boy you now hated the most. He walked over to you, but your feet was in control of it’s self and you ran, as fast as you could. Pushing through the crowd, finding your way out of the house that was filled with too many bodies, the heat rising to your head as your tears blurred your vision. Keeping your head hung low so you wouldn’t draw any attention. You could hear Doyoung calling after you but you kept running

you felt like the whole world was against you, before you could turn the block, Doyoung caught up to you and grabbed your wrist turning your body towards him. “Can you please listen to me?” You could head the desperation in his voice. “What? What do you want to say? I already heard it all” you said as you pulled your wrist out of his grip and wiped your face.

“Y/n....” he spoke softly as he touched your shoulders, “don’t touch me! Just say what you want to so I could leave” you say taking a step back and looking up at him

“I love being your friend, Y/n. You’re my best friend. I-I didn’t want to look weak in front of my friends so I had to say it. I really do enjoy being with you” he said, his voice was shaking, his face was filled with guilt. “....you humiliated me, just to keep face?” You said in disbelief, you couldn’t even look at him anymore. You shook your head and walked away, leaving the sobbing boy, who was now on his knees.
