a story heavy five generation legacy challenge for a fairy family ! not yet play - tested so let me know if there's anything that needs reworking ! i made a blog just to post this challenge i wrote & remade upon proper ' enchanted by nature ' release so please keep the credit to me ! use # fruit flies legacy challenge if you play - i want to see all of your play - throughs !!

🍉 rules can be slightly altered to fit your playstyle, or omitted entirely if you so choose ! play for fun & use as a guideline for stories ! 🍋 heir can be any gender ! if there is offspring specifications, it will be put in that generation's rules 🍓 let me know if something needs reworking as i've not played through it & this is my first ever attempt at writing a challenge ! 🍋‍🟩 i have not decided if i will post my play - through but if i do i will link it here 🍊 this challenge requires the ui cheats extension mod by weerbesu for the ' immediate skill gain ' aspects ! this as all requirements and rules can be ignored 🍒 each generation has a sour and a sweet option, that way you have opportunities to individualize your legacy from others ! 🍌 there are no generational colors set with all of the overlap in fruits & colors, but you may do them if you wish ! 🍇 all required packs are listed in each generation and of course optional if you don't have them ! do not buy packs just for challenges ! [ + obviously enchanted by nature is required ] 🥭 have fun ! i wanted to create something fun and vibrant and summery and story - centric involving the fairies that could hopefully help bring a little whimsy life back to your game if you're struggling to get back into it like me ! use this challenge and its elements as a reason to create storylines ! fall in love again !

you were always a little different than the rest of your family - and you knew it, too. bright as anything, your parents would whisper to the other neighborhood parents at dinner parties, but an imagination that gets away from you. well, since when did being fun become a bad thing? so what you were still clinging to your dreams of growing up to become a fairy; it wasn't hurting anyone! deep down, you knew it was ridiculous and unachievable . . . until moving in with your best friend lands you in the magical world of innisgreen, and suddenly you aren't sure of what's the truth. now, it's your life goal to determine - are fairies real, and can you actually become one?

your childhood was chaotic. no matter how sweet or sour your mother, the fairy queen, was, you simply could not fall into the virtuous image set by her for your family, true or not. you were a bitter one from the moment you were born, full of tight lipped scowls and puffy lipped pouts, so it made no sense on how someone as sour as you could produce such sweet melodies. you weren't a siren (wrong occult, thank you) but whenever you sang, everyone around you stopped to listen. the only problem was that you didn't want to have the spotlight. not when you had to share it with your devastatingly attractive (and annoying) manager. even the sourest fruits have to fall in love though, unfortunately . . . so why, of all the people enamored with your voice, did your heart pick them?

the both of you could not be more different. your twin is your complete opposite, and it shows in the way that neither of you get along. one of you was a cheerleader, wearing the cherry red uniform every friday night lights. the other of you was at the stadium, too, but you weren't there to watch or to participate, passing sweaty bottles of lukewarm nectar between your friends and you. one was going to be prom royalty, one was going to be sabotaging the bathrooms. even the partners you find yourselves with are opposites. physically identical and opposed in every other way, the only other time you two align is with your goals. the magic has been in your family for years now, but no one has ever utilized what that meant. it's time to start to be the fairies that your great great grandmother wished for you both to be so long ago.

SOUR / SIBLINGS AND NOT FRIENDS, WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE DOES THIS SEND? - develop a poor relationship with your twin + move one twin out of the shared home and to another world

- 🍒 use cheats / mods to completely erase the relationship between the twins after a final fight

- 🍒 if the game puts them in the same lot together, you may introduce them again and proceed with the small business

- 🍒 if the game does not put them on the same lot together, you may not introduce them again, and you must pick one of the twins to be the proper heir rather than both, and open a small business with them

- 🍒 the small business must have a top tier reputation

SOUR / SOMETHING IS AWRY, I SENSE THE SHIFT IN THE WIND AND THE SKY - one twin's partner makes a move on the other twin accidentally . . . right? + must let the game decide what is done about the infidelity attempt, and work around the reactions

- 🍒 if the reaction to the flirting is positive, you must maintain a secret relationship until you are found out or it naturally fizzles

- 🍒 if the reaction to the flirting is negative, you must carry on like nothing has happened

- 🍒 master at least two of the above skills each

SWEET / ALL WAS NEEDED WAS TIME, THESE NEW MEMORIES WITH YOU SO DIVINE - you and your twin have a good relationship at last, with only a little fairy dust to smooth the edges + gain the ' wise ' trait upon elderhood & instantly each gain one of the ' happily harmonious ' and ' delightfully discordant ' traits

- 🍒 master at least two of the above skills each

- 🍒 live on a large enough lot to have two homes for both twins and their families

- 🍒 finish the above aspiration each

SWEET / MY ANCESTORS GUIDE THE WAY AND ALLOW ME ANOTHER DAY - after honoring the previous generations with portraits, the fairy queen title finds a new name + instantly switch aspirations to ' fabulously wealthy ' & gain the ' money tree ' reward trait

- 🍒 no small business necessary so long as the paintings remain hung up on your property somewhere

- 🍒 plant the money tree on your property; this is your ancestors giving back for the decades of hard work!

- 🍒 challenge ends when each twin has created a masterwork of their own and the ' fabulously wealthy ' aspiration is completed

- 🍒 if the game puts them in the same lot together, you may introduce them again and proceed with the small business

- 🍒 if the game does not put them on the same lot together, you may not introduce them again, and you must pick one of the twins to be the proper heir rather than both, and open a small business with them

- 🍒 the small business must have a top tier reputation

SOUR / SOMETHING IS AWRY, I SENSE THE SHIFT IN THE WIND AND THE SKY - one twin's partner makes a move on the other twin accidentally . . . right? + must let the game decide what is done about the infidelity attempt, and work around the reactions

- 🍒 if the reaction to the flirting is positive, you must maintain a secret relationship until you are found out or it naturally fizzles

- 🍒 if the reaction to the flirting is negative, you must carry on like nothing has happened

- 🍒 master at least two of the above skills each

SWEET / ALL WAS NEEDED WAS TIME, THESE NEW MEMORIES WITH YOU SO DIVINE - you and your twin have a good relationship at last, with only a little fairy dust to smooth the edges + gain the ' wise ' trait upon elderhood & instantly each gain one of the ' happily harmonious ' and ' delightfully discordant ' traits

- 🍒 master at least two of the above skills each

- 🍒 live on a large enough lot to have two homes for both twins and their families

- 🍒 finish the above aspiration each
