Just a quick announcement that I’m migrating Juno over to Wannabe Bounty Hunter’s universe to explore more of her story (see Lou and Astor’s blog), as I feel this would allow me far more creative freedom and not be restricted by Oddworld’s rules and setting. The same also goes for the rest of the Takartha tribe, though I’m yet to figure out their region and how they will look. Otherwise here is Juno’s new design!

Some more drawings of humanized Juno, their adoptive child Alba and their brother Mulo. Juno loves practising their family’s traditional kunik greeting with their big bro as an excuse to be a general annoyance to him and because it’s not often they get to visit each other.

It took me many tries to find something that fit her but I opted to veer away from tradition due to Juno having left behind her home and traditions in favour of seeking the truth, it also gives her an opportunity to dress more feminine without feeling pressured.

Tonraq, or ‘Tonton’ as Juno calls him affectionately, has been by his rider’s side since they were small. Despite his impressive size, the name she chose for him in her youth translates to ‘tiny man’.

Much like your average breed of elum, he is also very partial to honey and Juno will go to any length possible to obtain it for him.
