Prologue pt.1

Thousands of years ago, Celestial beings made of an inky essence were born into this world through unknown means.  They built a strong empire out of the magic that brought them to life, and found veins of this substance deep in the earth.  They called it Ichor, or “god’s blood.”  They developed their society around the core and used it to create art and life.

However, there was a darkness brewing in the bowels of the islands, as the ichor was alive. The Blot emerged from the earth, creating entities who had souls darker than the night.

A great war was waged against this being, but with their newfound magic, the Celestial armies drew the darkness back, along with the rest of its spawn.

Unfortunately, a curse befell the lands of ink, and their bodies grew uncontrollable and volatile. 

They called it “The Blot’s Curse.”

In an act to save everyone that many still question to this day, the celestial wizard, Yen Sid, gave up his magic and created a machine to purify the ichor deep within the veins and concentrate it into helping those of Inkwell.

Thus the golden era of “Re-Animation” (creating life) began!

With the islands having new societies rise from the rubble, Toons created cities, towns and houses with ToonTown at its very core.

This period of peace did not last, however. Greed overtook the toons as the machine would provide anything they wanted. Many sought to have it all to themselves. This Greed turned to a lust for power that divided the toons. The instability caused by the crumbling society only reawakened The Blot’s Curse.

This ended the golden era of peace and panic swept the nation. Those affected by The Blot sought out Mickey, the mayor of ToonTown. Mickey, realizing he could not do this alone, started a new order within inkwell.

Toons were separated into factions, each led by “The Stars,” Elected leaders that would form parties to search for the fabled ink machine.

This plan would lead to devastation. Many toons were lost, and Inkwell was forever divided. What began as a search for a cure, turned into deadly competition which ultimately led the Stars to retreat to their own guilds, locking themselves away from the deadly disease that ravaged their home. 

What the Stars didn’t know was that the Ink Machine had been torn apart by the Celestials, with the main artifacts of the machine being divided among them. Finally, with no explanation, The Celestials disappeared.

With no cure for The Blot, Toons began to lose hope in their champions

Many have gone missing, and more succumbed to the blot.

The rest are left to deal with the pieces they left behind.

This is where our story begins.

Also, the new episode set up the PERRFFECTTT stakes for them to create some awful dystopian society. Your leaders have no more real wisdom then you. OJ's existed the longest and from what we've heard and seen he wasn't the best host.

None of them have real experience. They're just mimicking what they think life is like. Giving eachother jobs they aren't qualified for. Introducing their society through entertainment- oh it is SO good.

They have it wrong. It isn't the lack of the show that makes them feel so out of place- it's that this isn't what life is. You're trying to ignore death. You still rely on Shimmer technology. You want to avoid drama. You'll give whatever job you want to anyone who wants it, never working for it.

Life isn't immitation. You can't just play a role. But of course you don't know that, you've never experienced it.

i don't think it's very fair to be demonizing the osc for creating a false utopia btw. i think the whole point is they don't know how else to build a community because they've been secluded from the rest of the world and don't know any better

in the same manner i don't think fan should be demonized either because he was also kept away from the world by the show and is regressing back into it because it's all he's ever known. and as we all know he responds very poorly to change

iiiv in general is set up in a way that requires every former contestant to have to not just figure out, but come to terms with themselves, and grapple with the fact that just because they're free of the show doesn't immediately mean that everything's okay . both the osc AND fan need to learn this and i'm sure it's bound to be an overarching theme

no one's in the right here but no one's in the wrong either. everyone is deeply traumatized by the show and they're all just responding to it differently. you're meant to sympathize with the characters in this regard, not pick a side as to who's right and who's wrong

💫 ACTUALLY INTRODUCING MY AU!! 💫

⭐ Cuphead!! & Bendy!! In: THE LAST STRAW or, Cleanup On Inkwell Isle!!⭐

This is the au I'm hoping to adapt into a comic!! :D

⬇️!SYNOPSIS! ⬇️

⭐Trouble is brewing in the Inkwell isles when a summoning spell goes wrong, leaving Bendy and his friends alone in a strange world. Between superstition and misunderstandings, he doesn't exactly make many pals- but Cuphead is willing to give the Devil Darlin' a chance when nobody else will.

With the help of Cuphead, Mugman, Ms Chalice and (a rather unwilling) King Dice, can they find Bendy's friends (and enemies) and send them home?

Does Bendy even have a home? ⭐

(this will be a combination of the show and game lore, as well as aspects from gameplay/story in Batim/Batdr!!)

Stay tuned for updates on the comic! The ref sheets are all nearly done and I've begun framing and planning the chapters. Hoping to have it started some time next month, but that may be optimistic! 😅
