Hello everyone, I hope you were able to commune with the Lord in whichever way is best for you. The sermon I listened to as I sat in a pew chair was about how God will not let harm come to us no matter what situation we are in. God has us in the palm of his hand and are watching over our lives and knows about the barriers we face. For those facing financial pressures and unemployment I pray that God blesses you with a job but not just any job. I hope he blesses you with a job that is meant for you and blessed with stability and happiness in your life like if your artistic, those things can be pricey so having a job enables you to be able to buy the things you need to create. When I think about spiritual warfare, its the doubt the enemy places in our minds that could lead us to believe things we have gotten pass and given over to God. Doubt is a scary avenue to go down and constant prayer combats that, i call it mini prayers where you can stop in the middle of whatever your doing and just pray for the thought or situation that just occurred. You ever been haunted by the past in your thoughts? When an embarrassing or, hard time in your past just pops up out of nowhere especially when one is embarking on something similar like if you applying for a job and get flashbacks of times when things were done unfairly toward you or, trauma from a past event creeps up. Go to God in prayer and talk with him about or, write it down and express it in a artistic way to get it out, over and up to God. The word equips us with the knowledge to know others have faced the same if not worse. Take note of the things they did, even though we wouldn't offer burnt offerings but we can still praise God in our own way but going to an elder and asking what should you do works as well. Be blessed and be a blessing.

Dear God, here I am again, standing in awe of Your powerful presence in every part of my life. I’m so thankful for the blessings You pour out, big and small, and even for the hard times that mold me. Forgive me for when I’ve stumbled, and thank You for showing me the way back. Lift me up, fill me with strength, and use me to shine Your light in places of darkness. Wrap Your peace around me, let it guard my heart and sharpen my mind, keeping me strong and steady no matter what comes my way. Amen.

Hello everyone,
Is it possible that children of someone that has been appointed with great honor somehow take away the blessings from the entire family? I realize that one of my elders and even several are a great beacon for our entire family because of their willingness to offer help in the people in their lives. I believe that I have been protected by the grace of God by the good deeds of my elders and if they weren't the type of people to give the shirt off their backs then I probably wouldn't be as blessed as I am now. When you look at the way blessings are typically presented, its probably a grand gesture but blessings are small and just as big as the typical monetary gains or, luck people describe. I've been reading in the book of 1 Samuel and the beginning starts off with one of the wives being taunted by the other to the point where it brings her to tears. Have you ever been taunted relentlessly? It may cause you to doubt anyone cares, and the trickery comes in by the other side that one may start to believe even their family doesn't care. What if they don't know how to show it? What if the very people that a person may feel doesn't care have their own problems that are bigger than one can imagine? Obviously it may be people or those in a family that blatantly show that they do not care and it may be for a season but if that person or, group is toxic for your spiritual growth then distance or, constant prayer and diving into your word could help one understand and give grace. Grace to me means that even if a person doesn't deserve or appreciate constant forgiveness, it's still given, and the focus should always be to feed our spirits. I had to reread the beginning of 1 Samuel several times to get the lesson, and I was shocked at the sons of Eli behavior in the house of the Lord. It was easy for me to miss at first but then I remembered the great honor that was given to the family over a sanctuary where burnt offerings were given to repent for sins and give glory to the Lord. I also wanted to note how young Samuel was and how his mother kept her promise of giving him over to God to serve him. When he was called by the Lord (1 Samuel 3:1-11), it was practical for him to think it was Eli, but he was so brave in answering to someone he couldn't see. He was devoted and had discipline, I cannot wait to see where his journey takes him. I wonder if the meat given as an offering was often eaten or if it started at some point in the Bible.
