Not really a question, but I just wanted to tell you I started our Wonderland like 3 days ago I just ended the first Arc today and I just want to say thank you, I feel really connected to iggy in his not caring about himself atitude or "being to busy" to meet his friends, also this is the first game that I see has character representing me being both a bi male and grey romantic, I already feel so strongly about this game and I just started I can way to play the whole of It, Im also using as exposure therapy for my SA trauma, truly thankfull never- stop creating ur work is amazing

If you want to help out indie game devs & creators aside from buying their work, there's 2 great ways to help:

Leave reviews for their work on store fronts (Steam, itchio, Amazon, etc) as reviews really help

Recommend their works to your friends as word of mouth is super important!

What if you start a kickstarter to fund putting ow on steam

the $100 fee isn't really the big thing keeping me from putting the game on steam, it's everything else involved (I'd probably need to hire someone to make a trailer as I'm not very good at that kind of thing myself, I'd have to do a lot of coding on the game to set up the achievements and remove all external links, need to create all the new assets for the store, etc.)

also because of the tax issues I feel like I'd need to get a publisher to actually do it because I worry immensely about setting up my own steamworks account

I'm not saying steam isn't an option down the road but just not as an immediate solution for this issue (someone be my publisher plz sob)

The gang is officially printed as stickers and are now on my Chromebook(I did have to make Genzou eat a jelly bean so I would be allowed to print them). I hope this brings at least a little joy, which I think we can all agree is much needed

I’m sorry to hear that OW got deindexxed on itch. Maybe try putting it on GameJolt

this already happened years ago on gamejolt...😩

i actually did put OW on gamejolt in the very beginning. arc 1 was up there for a while when i first released the game. but it did so poorly (like literally 5 downloads) that it was clear gamejolt was the wrong place to put the game, so i took it off before releasing arc 2

My queer horror game I worked on for 3 years was deindexed on itchio.

This game has been pretty much my life and purpose these years and is based on many of my own challenges of figuring myself out later in life. To say this has gutted me is an understatement.

I made an edit on the game page and after I saved it, it's now deindexed...

I feel really stupid. What a gut punch. It would have happened eventually I guess because I can't not update it ever again but gosh...

i've had this weird thought in my head ever since someone sent in an ask about the part in genzou's epilogue about iggy's intimacy levels... and i responded back that probably it was a lot of back-and-forth learning about each other and also that his comfort levels and boundaries likely fluctuate a lot

but what if he actually programmed an app that he could update with how he was feeling at any given moment. which i then took further and thought about what if he programmed a complete "couples app" that also had a messaging system, note and list system, the ability to send each other virtual hugs, and also his current touch levels and it was all specifically designed to be accessible to genzou...

which then made me start imagining an entire dating sim where you play as genzou trying to manage your shop and date iggy and go through a whole year of ups, downs, and cute sweet moments... ;-;

i think it would be so cute...

I feel a bit more assured after the new statement was put out; but I still really don't know what's going to happen. No one does at this point. so just hoping for the best and doing what I can to at least make sure I have a second option

I got a small scare when ppl started panic sharing that mouthwashing was deindexed. then it was explained and proven that it's been deindexed since last year because the devs of the game took the download off itch and only link it to steam, which automatically deindexed it and it has nothing to do with any of the recent stuff. my biggest frustration right now is honestly people spreading misinformation and making claims that aren't true as it keeps sending me into anxiety attacks and then I actually look it up and what they said was blatantly false or just conjecture. there's so much of that going on and it's not helping anything and just adding to the confusion and fear...

Currently, the only posts there are backups for my games. Though I want to continue with things like my art and anything else I've made over the years. In general, I hope it can be a centralized place for all my stuff, as well as a spot you can always count on for updates no matter what site or platform goes down in the future.

I haven't decided yet entirely how I'm going to do updates or organize everything so please bear with me. It obviously won't be something I update often with all of my random thoughts like I do on my socmed accounts. But maybe focused more on longer updates, things like devlogs or longer things about my games or relevant updates, art posts, etc. We'll see.
