I think the thing that kills me in anti rhetoric is that, to prove their point that "fiction affects reality", they often refrain from ACTUAL self-declared fictional media like cartoons, movies, books, etc., and start listing things like propaganda or common societal misconceptions and try to refer to these as "fiction"

So, in the nicest way possible to whatever anti needs to hear this, Birth of a Nation, the idea that mice like cheese, and SpongeBob SquarePants are all viscerally different at their FUNDAMENTALS, and conflating them for your point does NOT make you look or sound smart, I'm sorry lol
