Fun Fact About Hu Tao

According to Hu Tao her name is a play on words, for instance, “Hu as in who put me in this coffin?” and Tao as in “I can’t geT OUt!” However, in Mandarin Chinese her name translates to walnut.

Character Teaser - "Hu Tao: Scared Yet?" | Genshin Impact

I’ve been excited to hear more about this character. She is Hu Tao and I believe she is the 77th director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. My Zhongli character has an about Hu Tao tag and he says,” The current director of the funeral parlor? Ahem. I cannot deal with that child.” With the tone of voice he uses it makes me wonder what she did to make him dislike her so much.

Another event is starting soon on the 26th!

During the event, Travelers who successfully challenge a Blossom of Wealth or Blossom of Revelation and consume Original Resin to obtain rewards will receive double the output. A total of 3 such bonuses will be available each day!

This will be really helpful for everyone who constantly run out of resin and those who don’t want to use up their condensed resin on ley lines. Plus I need more mora. I’m so broke I can’t even level up my characters anymore. I need a Childe in my life.

I just recently learned that Ningguang’s passive ability can’t detect cor lapis or noctilucous jades. I recently got the character thanks to the Lantern Festival, but was a bit disappointed to find this out. Both items are considered to be pure crystals made of energy of the elements and are not like crystal ores, so they can’t be found with Ningguang, However, Qiqi’s passive ability can detect them, so I’m hoping to get her soon through some wishes. 

TLDR: Ningguang can’t detect cor lapis or noctilucous jades, but Qiqi can.

A new wish event is coming soon on the 23rd. I’m personally looking forward to getting the claymore Wolf’s Gravestone. The design for it looks great and I want to try it on my Diluc or Beidou despite the fact that it probably works best for Razor.

The web event "Wish Upon a Lantern" has begun! Access the >>Portal<< available here to go to the event.

PlayStation users can participate via the portal link in the event mail (Paimon Menu > Mail). (Note: Do not delete the event mail.)

Eligibility Travelers who have reached Adventure Rank 10 or above can participate in this event.

The Xiao Lantern types can repeat themselves.

Event Reward 〓Little Gift Box〓 Though it may be by turns exquisite or pedestrian, every one of these contains the heartfelt feelings of the sender, whoever they may be. Each time you release a lantern, you will receive a "Little Gift Box," which will contain a random amount of Mora and other small presents.

〓Grand Primogem Prize〓 A luxurious gift from a mysterious organizer. A card lies atop it that reads: "Happy New Year, Traveler from another world!" You will be able to claim a random amount of Primogems as a reward from the main event page during the reward collection period, provided that you have lit up all five Xiao Lanterns.

Skybracer looks awesome! I wonder how they make the lantern itself come to life like that, but maybe they just say it’s magic and leave it at that.

I finally got Xiao to see the Festival! Maybe next year or event he’ll go into the city.

Mihoyo has just announced that in just two days a new event wish will start. Xaio’s banner is soon coming to an end, and soon the ��Driving Thunder” Keqing will be available on Feb 17 until March 2. This banner also comes with the increased chances of getting Barbara, Bennett, and Ningguang.

I got the idea to climb up top to see what would happen. To be honest, I was hoping for an achievement like the one in Mondstadt for climbing the statue. However, the view is great and makes me wonder how it would look once the festival get closer to completion.
