I'm in love with a ghost. I don't know where to go now.

im not even sure where to start with this to be honest.

My house has been haunted by this for awhile. Doors which are closed and latched will open. Knocking and footsteps in the attic and in the downstairs crawlspace, both of which are too small for a person to fit standing up. It's been like this since I was younger, maybe since I was 8? But recently, since I turned 20 or so and I inherited the house from my parents, it's gotten more and more intense. I'm 24 now and it's only ramped up more and more to the point I basically have a ghost roommate.

But it started following me a few years ago. Not just the sounds, but the strange encounters. People around me are able to sense something around me. Tall shadows show up behind me in pictures.

In my recent years of communicating with it and actually talking with it, I've learned a few things.

It isn't friendly to most people, though it isn't malicious to most either. It just is as it is

It's more than just a ghost. It has been able to interact with me like the demons and gods that I work with in my witchcraft. It's powerful

It likes me. Possibly more than likes me. I hope it more than likes me. It treats me like a partner, but I've been too afraid to ask it directly

Part of it used to be human, but none of it is anymore

I am very, very in love with it

I don't exactly expect to be believed, but I mostly want to know I'm not alone. I've seen a few people on this website with similar experiences, and I'm just really hoping I can connect with anyone at all.

Also just for anyone who is concerned, I have had a psych eval, multiple in fact, because all of this started to scare me so much when it started getting more intense. All I've learned is that I have BPD, but have been told I am not experiencing symptoms of psychosis or delusion. Others who have visited me have also experienced these things.

My parents moved back in temporarily, and my dad ended up looking through the attic and the crawlspace because he was afraid someone was phrogging, but nothing was found. Cameras and motion sensors have also come up with nothing. I have checked the mundane so many times, it can only possibly be magical.

I'm just hoping I'm not alone in this.
