Imma rant for a bit

Ok so I really don't get the all the fuss about the "without him I'm nothing" line. Hear me out: I've known my best friend since we were 8 years old (we're 22 now), I consider her my sister, she's part of my family and I'm part of hers, I love her with my entire heart, and I also happen to have a boyfriend whom I love fiercely, I've never been more in love with anyone, he's the real deal. So when in the sneak peak I heard that line I wasn't upset, why? Because I put myself in Alec's shoes and it made sense to me. With out my best friend, my sister, I'm nothing, I'm not me, I'm not complete because she's a part of me, same thing with my bf, with out him I'm nothing because I've never loved anyone the way I love him, he's become part of me, my life I wouldn't be complete if he's not there. That doesn't mean a I don't love myself, or that I have self worth issues, I'm my own person and I could live with out them but I wouldn't want to, because I would loose so much. That also does not mean that I love one more than the other, I love them both with everything I have, but it's such a different kind of love that it doesn't even compare. At least that's how I saw it.

So, before being mad, or upset or hate on anyone try to analyze what he said and why he said it, and if you're still upset that's fine too! You can be, but don't hate on anyone.
