Things I read in 2020: "Cabin Fever"
Title: "Cabin Fever"
Author: Elizabeth Lynx
Rating: 4/5
Series or Standalone: Series, “Lost and Found”
Available in KU at time of posting: Yes
Quick Summary: After leaving her ex-fiance at the alter on their wedding day, rich-girl Olivia Love breaks into a found cabin on the mountain only to find it is not as abandoned as she thought it was. Carter Fitzwilliam doesn’t know why she broke into his cabin on the farm and wants her gone, but a snowstorm keeps them in the cabin for a few days. Will he be so eager to see her home after the roads clear? What will happen when she finds out the reason he is living in the middle of nowhere?
My review: Oh man, this book had some serious twists and turns! I did not expect any of the secrets that were revealed, nor did I think Olivia would be so excited to work with sheep. I laughed out loud at the antics, and look forward to continuing the series!

Books I've Read in 2020: "Ink: A Love Story on 7th and Main"

Title: "Ink: A Love Story on 7th and Main"
Author: Elizabeth Hunter
Rating: 4.5/5
Series or Standalone: Series
Available on Kindle Unlimited at time of Posting: Yes
Quick Summary: A woman moves back to her hometown and reopens her grandma's old bookstore. She rents out half the store to a sexy tattoo artist/former rancher. Sexy times ensue.
My review: This was such a cute story! I love books and tattoos, and this hit all the right buttons (eh? Buttons? Read the damn book to get it). The only thing I didn't enjoy was the love triangle the author put in for conflict. It wasn't that strong, and the reader knows who the girl is going to end up with anyway. Plus, that character was not heard from again. It was odd. But it was such a small part of the story that overall you could move past it. I would have included more tattooing, but that's just me.
Smut factor: 🔥🔥
Recommendation: Read it if you like cute stories with great buildup and sexy men who tattoo. The setting is in a small town in the mountains AKA exactly where I want to end up in life.
