Callout one: Edd Getting raped in the comic.
Yeah, we're talking about the rape scene. You know, that scene where Edd gets raped by Red's Harem. O h b o y. You HAVE to see a problem with this. First of all, there's no consent. Congratulations, that's officially rape. Literally, nobody wanted to see that, especially with a beloved character such as Edd as the victim. Think of how much this had to trigger rape victims. Being raped is a traumatic event that nobody should have to experience, and in a fan comic of something watched by teens and even children, it's just put there and not made a big deal out of. It can definitely trigger survivors of this horrible thing. Let's look at what TBATF has to say. They say that "Edd actually liked it and that he just didn't want Tom and Matt to tease him". This changes nothing. In fact, they made their case even worse. Not only have they passed rape along as a joke, but they clearly have no idea how consent works. They are adults and should know better. This also greatly misrepresents consent to the children reading the comic, especially since male rape doesn't get represented as much. Yes, a man can get raped. This doesn't represent consent at all to your readers. You have a fanbase to inspire, and it's the Eddsworld fanbase. Bing has even said on the Eddsworld discord server that no character was ever meant to be sexualized and that they need to protect this fanbase of KIDS and teens from pornography and nudity. So what did TBATF do? Show them rape. Great job.News flash: rape is not ok. Apparently,, three adults needed to be told that. That's actually pretty sad that half of a fanbase has tried to correct them on this yet they refuse to listen, especially on a topic as serious as this one.

I just want to repost this to call out something. does anyone remember when Edd was raped or almost raped by those anime girls?...... if they are trying to tell us about sexual harassment, assault and other things, why would you do that to a cartoon?

Jax is trying to say. If your a victim of sexual harassment, assualt, godforbid what else and feel upset, your feelings aren't valid if you are angry at someone aka her. This is the worse fucking thing to say to someone who a victim. To get over it? Those brave people came out with what you did to them and you have to nerve to pin that shit on them instead of your shitty self. How dare you. You are completely gross, and need a reality check. You'll never escape this shit without admitting and apologize to everyone of what you and your nasty crew done.
