Pre-military BTOB was a sight to behold. Very serious idols. Very aware of the existence of an idol image.

I can't keep that up. They're still just as much of clowns as they were back then. Voices are still impossibly good. This was however after they forgot that they can properly dance.

I do have to do a special shoutout to Minhyuk for adorably singing along when it wasn't his part. Actually, I think they were all singing when it wasn't their part at one time or another. This is the reason for the hand mics, ladies, gents and multiforms. They love to sing.

Wonder Girls in velvet is such an iconic look, and their sound is classic, especially with this song. I'd love to see a girl group debut with that kind of sound and look in fifth gen. Not cutesy, but not necessarily mature either.

Actually, it would also be cool to see some younger groups cover this.

It entertains me every time I think about it, that Cube sucks and CLC is just like "No, we're not disbanded. Quite saying we are." But Cube just sucks.

CLC however is really solid, and this song is an absolute banger. They've got power and femininity in spades, although I do find it a little bit hilarious that they're doing a song called "Black Dress," but they aren't wearing a black dress between them. Instead, it's suits and heels and they look gorgeous. Strong voices. Solid choreography work.

They could have been such queens if Cube didn't absolutely suck.

This stage is proof of the group's growth. They're more confident, they're more settled, and they're just generally showing off what they can do. I could see them being leaders of the kpop sphere if they could get a song to completely explode.

The costuming for this stage is actually pretty elegant and I really kind of love it. But the synchronized group dancing? That's what takes the cake with this group. They're so cool.

Special spot in my heart for this song because it gave them their first full group win after over seven years. Moment of triumph for a group that was nearly disbanded three years earlier.

JR is showing altogether more skin than I'm used to, Minhyun's body rolls are a thing of legend, Ren is cheeky and flirty, Baekho's arms can barely be contained by those sleeves, and Aron's voice is so clear and focused.

Y'all. These guys are incredible and after what Baekho said on his live recently, I REFUSE to stop talking about them. Know them. Love them. They're stunning.

Not to be weird about this, but I legit can't stop staring at how gorgeous their legs are. Those look like healthy, powerful legs, accentuated by their boots. I mean, I generally love boots, and they aren't just here to make the members look good because the styling across the board is so incredible.

The Lara Croft vibes coming off of Jennie are unreal and I'm kind of in love. I mean, the whole lot of them are giving video game vibes, which I'm here for, and if I was a cosplayer, this would be a hell yes from me because it's basically perfect.

But Jennie, you guys. Jennie. Cue the heart eyes.

Also, this song is stunning. It's honestly one of my favorite BLACKPINK songs.

It's an incredible performance from BTS, even if you divorce it from the context of what was going on. With the context... V gets all my respect.

I love the fanchant in this stage. It's so loud and it sounds like a sporting event and that makes it even better.

The styling across the board for all the members is incredible, but Jeongyeon? She looks so amazing!

But this song is so cute and the choreography is so fun.

VIXX are absolutely incredible and I'd like to see them doing more stuff together. The OG concept kings had something cute and bright for this comeback, which was a remake of an R.ef (one of the OG first gen kings) songs. But it's kind of hilarious that they did Cyborg and then did this. Concept Kings indeed.

This choreography is incredible. We've got floorwork. We've got domino effects. We've got synced group work. We've got solo highlights. There is something somewhat predatory here, which does actually fit the song well, and I love the splashes of red some of the members have.

The white costumes look so good on them for this with the way that they swish with the choreography.

And Dreamcatcher is just so cool. Their music is stunning. The members are gorgeous. And you can never have too much girl rock.

I think ONEUS is one of those groups that if they could just get people to watch them, they could be some major players in the kpop arena.

They're incredible dancers, they've got incredible vocals, the rapping is impeccable, and they're just so smooth I almost can't quite stand it.

For Twilight in particular, that choreography is not easy. The amount of body control it would take...

And ONEUS was still in their first year, you guys.
