#LOONEYUNE Day 14: #TexAvery. My tribute to the guy who discovered cartoon physics, created animated comedy and put the “Looney” in Looney Tunes, the King of Cartoons himself, Tex Avery.

Another idea of mine. Inspired by pulp heroes like Dick Tracy, the Green Hornet and the campy 60’s Batman, Ms. Mysterious is a masked vigilante who protects metropolis of The City from an array of colorful villains. One of them is Professor Buttocks, a bottom heavy evil scientist who wants to rule the world.

Introducing my newest creations the Birdbrains (from left to right): Bizzy, Buzzy & Dizzy.

This is a concept I’ve been having for a long time. It’s actually an idea I have for a live-action puppet show with animated segments. The premise goes like this:

The Birdbrains run a treasure hunting service, where they travel around the world looking hidden treasure in their flying ship the S.S.Feather Duster. But, behind them is the notorious Catgut and his goons the Monkey Boys, who try to beat them to the treasure to have for themselves.
