Kareman Dohan (@karemandohan1999), a brave teacher from Khan Yunis, reached out to me in this time of dire need where all her immense courage and determination is still reaching the limits of what she can do to support her family without external intervention.

Her husband, Ayman, is a business administrative graduate who had to work as a fisherman due to the unemployment crisis in Gaza prior to the war.

Together, they have a beautiful son named Hamoud, who is 1 and a half and dreams of a prosperous life far from this violence none of them deserve.

While they are currently stuck in a war zone and cannot yet hope to leave, we can still come together to help them endure these horrendous waiting conditions and help them weather this dreadful storm.

And then, eventually, let's get them out of there altogether. 💪💪💪

queer people are getting the short end of the stick again so we'd appreciate some help in our move 🙏

Hi! we're Niya and Charley, a bisexual Russian woman and lesbian American enby living in Batumi, Georgia, for the past two years. We've been in a loving relationship for 8 year now.

Our original plan was for Niya to get a fiancée Visa to move to the US, but that was placed on hold indefinitely due to the pandemic and a certain Russian territorial conflict making it difficult for Russians to obtain a visa through embassies. At the time, Georgia seemed like the best alternative, and, as charming as our stay has been for the most part, it is increasingly becoming unsafe for LGBT couples. A new bill was passed trying to make "LGBT propaganda" illegal, which in Niya's experience as a Russian, means "anything they don't like, they can claim is illegal". While Georgia's president does plan to veto this bill, it has been stirring up anger and unnecessary attention to queer people regardless and led to a spike in discriminatory violence already. Even before things got this bad, Charley has had rocks thrown at them, screamed at, and been refused entry to public places for wearing normal feminine clothes.

We are currently looking into moving to Mexico, as that is another place both of us have easy access to a half year visa. Moving countries has never been an easy decision, but we've done it before, and with your help, we can do it again, for the sake of our safety.

ok let’s get right to it, Vader vs Ganondorf. who wins at: chess, arm wrestling, shots (either tequila or basketball your choice)

the first sentence of this hit me like a semitruck okay uhhhjj. i know much less about star wars than zelda so i could be wrong but. i feel like ganondorf might be more likely to win a chess match because he’s (i think) less impulsive and better at planning really far ahead/handling unforeseen circumstances. i imagine vader would also be a formidable chess player and strategist but it’s probably extremely difficult to win at chess against a guy who’s had to do centuries’ worth of strategizing lol

my first impulse is to say ganondorf would win at arm wrestling because his whole thing is literally Power etc etc but. vader has robot arms that can crush a windpipe unassisted and his force abilities could. probably at least give ganondorf’s triforce a run for its money. like. i feel like it could go either way but vader might actually be able to win that. like whatever building they’re arm wrestling in would be rubble and/or a full crater at the end but vader could maybe win that

uhhh vader would ‘win’ at shooting hoops bc he could just use the force to make sure the ball goes in every time and then act like he’s not doing that. ganondorf would do really well and become so competitive & dialed in to the point where he might even match vader throw for throw without using magic to cheat, but there’s a 99% chance vader would use the force to subtly nudge ganon’s ball at some point so it doesnt go in and then act like he didnt do that

i think if you made darth vader do tequila shots he would like straight up die i literally dont think his body could handle that like medically. ganondorf would win at tequila shots because he wouldnt die
