uhhmmmhmhmhmhmhmm honestly i haven't given this a ton of thought but my immediate instinct is to say something revolving around Miki. She's the goat and i love the idea of having a character that uses her own psychic abilities to like... humanize(?) kaiju more? obviously we've gotten a lot more open characterization of monster chars like kong, and some for others too, but having a human who can basically communicate with kaiju would be neato. (not just the orca static, real communication)

im not picky but if it was an offshoot of the monsterverse....... i feel like the mv vaguely hinted at their version of the shobijin (dr chen and her sister) having some kinda link or attachment to mothra, so it doesn't seem unreasonable to extrapolate off that idea. you could always lean on the excuse that hollow earth spicy air can effect human brains and triggered psychic abilities or something idk

buuuuuut yeah im a sucker for her having a baby gojiran around so im down for whatever kinda godzilla juniour/baby godzilla thing they need to do for her to help raise it up. easiest choice is that they find a dormant egg in HE and it hatches out. perhaps they're worried goji will see it as a threat and will try to vaporize it so they gotta work around that, maybe chat to mothra, etc. hijinks ensue trying to keep a baby goji hidden, blah blah.

maybe it's too silly but i think there's a chance for an emotional core of Miki feeling out of place among humans for her powers, n the baby gojiran being unable to integrate into the 'kaiju balance' until they're sure it can be safe. i think it could be fun and cute with a pinch of angst when needed

i have thought about it! but honestly idk if im built for it 😭 the zeuszilla stuff is a lot of fun but i dont have a ton of ideas for my own anthro au.

i find myself preferring the gijinka end of more humanoid aus, i think i just have more fun with em. i have a bunch of sketches and ideas piled up im just trying to finish the shimo, rodan, battra, and angy gijinka designs before posting the backlog of everything else....... which will prob take me another 100 years lmao.(even tho they're like 80% done) but i have a lot of lore ideas for that au that i wanna do more art for if i have the time </3

What brushes do you use on procreate?

mostly the two sketch brushes from this pack!

most of my rendering is just done with the airbrush section that already come with the program^^ i should use more of the textural brushes to speed up my process but i am in fact, not very smart

i do use more custom brushes for CSP but still havent found a Perfect Brush for me yet </3

I haven’t calculated it exactly, but it’s multiple millions for sure. that may be skewed by times they rested in hollow earth (time moving differently there, so they technically wouldn’t be as old as they’ve been around, due to that distortion) but it’s been a looong time.

i was playing with the idea that divine lepidoptera evolved in hollow earth while gojirans evolved on the surface, with the passages between those places only becoming readily available once most of goji’s species was wiped out, and just before ghido entered hollow earth and killed like 98% of the divine moths.

so they do meet when they think they’re the last of their respective species. both species were quite social (the moths moreso) so being alone wasn’t natural for either of them, and that caused them to gravitate towards one another. at that time goji was a mess of anger and resentment so they did get into multiple fights, but he never really tried to kill her. he was just unbearably angry, and got more angry at the idea of befriending something that wasn’t the family he lost. they figure it out eventually because mothra is That Girl and can in fact Fix Him

slow burn, strangers to enemies to friends to lovers, soulmates, mutual pining, etc. you know the drill

It's beet a while since you made something abou Spacebat... So I thought I'd ask, how did they become a couple in your AU? like, who confessed hahsjgahs

they’re so cringe dude its just straight up tsundere x tsundere it’s such a clusterfuck

but to be fr ummmmmm i haven’t 100% decided how it happens buuuut my thoughts so far are this:

battra emerges and chills out first, kesshō (spacegoji) shows up second. kesshō beefs insanely hard with goji when he first shows up so mothra helps in that fight, and battra happens to tag along. so yeah the first time they meet they’re trying to kill each other (the best way to start any good ship)

mothra whiteknights and says they should subdue him instead, she ends up knocking him out with psychic bullshit and they take him to monster island so he’s less likely to get into shit with humans. kesshō goes through his own tumultuous I Never Asked To Be Made arc that heavily involves goji and bio, and mothra being a mediator.

battra mostly……. watches. for a while at least. he’s fairly antisocial to begin with and finds kessho to be very irritating, until realizing he finds him irritating because they’re similar lmaooo so he’s extremely avoidant for a long time. but once kesshō is on his good boy arc things kinda settle out, they end up being in the same vicinity more often.

likeeeeee. kesshō spends time with goji > goji doesn’t like being away from mothra > mothra spends time with battra > long distance pining: commence

kesshō falls first, battra falls harder. kesshō inherited the Big Dumb Dumb Idiot Himbo genes from goji’s bloodline so once he stops being a hyper angsty idiot he becomes like… a tsundere himbo type. he’s awkward as hell and just keeps dropping treats off for battra and leaving because he doesn’t know what to say lool

once goji n mosu realize what’s up they start shipping it and encourage them to talk properly instead of kesshō just dropping food for battra while battra hisses like a cat and tells him to fuck off but still eats the food once kesshō is outta sight

i could go on but i’ve yapped too much already T-T but tldr: months and months of tsundere x tsundere nonsense until the two emos fall in love
