Yeah my friend called it a Scootfish and I ran with that.

Scootfish like to be in schools and can often be seen in shoals of 5 to even hundreds if it's season.

They're exceptionally good parents. While they have been known to cannibalize weaker Scootfish they will not eat their children and would rather starve if no food is present.

They're opportunistic omnivores though so don't get comfy.

They're fairly small for a world of supersized creatures, the biggest being just around that of Earth's Orcas.

Hey everybody,

It’s been a while. I’ve been pretty quiet on here for a lot of reasons—burnout, balancing work, and, well... life. One of the biggest reasons is that I recently found out I’m going to be a dad! It’s been a wild mix of emotions, but I’m so excited for this next chapter.

Even with all the chaos, I’ve still been diving deep into world-building and story work. It’s been a way to recharge and keep my creative spark alive. There’s so much I want to share with you all eventually, but for now, I thought I’d start with this: a piece I made to announce my daughter, inspired by Cardcaptor Sakura.

Chapter 1 Break

im sorry for the sudden break! life caught up to be, and I'm trying not to burn out! I am going to be taking a small break to cook up the next batch of pages for the story, and then I'll be back to regularly posting. Kaijune - day 29: prince ☠️👑

Chaos monster X

Monster X was the 10th and final kaiju released by the Xilien and their trump card. As strong as Gojira, more intelligent than a human, with durability comparable to Anguirus, flight like that of Gigan, and the speed and skills on par with the likes of Ultraman, the skeletal monster stand as a powerhouse despite its fragile appearance.

Due to it being released as a last resort, the kaiju arrival was preceded by the deployment of a spherical bomb that drops from outer atmosphere, decimating the surrounding city. From the wreckage, a drop pod open revealing the demonic kaiju. Immediately upon release, Monster X spotted Gojira and zoom straight into conflict, starting with a close combat match.

While at first many has thought Gojira would be able to over power monster X due to the invader’s fragile frame, they were shocked to see that not only was Gojira strength being matched but it was being outplayed and slowly getting defeated by the much more agile and deadly kaiju. While not as Powerful as the likes of Ghidorah, monster X was able to focus solely on and deal constant damage to the defender, wearing it down faster than its regeneration can keep up with. As all hopes seem lost and Gojira falls to the ground, having to take constant streams of distortion energy from monster X’s eyes, a flash of blinding light appeared signaling the arrival of the goddess Mothra.

Despite the aid, Monster X still proved difficult to defeat, deploying its multiple skulls as both a form of turret and protective shield. Luckily, with some of the pressure being eased off of Gojira, the Atomic horror can regain its footing and rise once more.

Though the battle was hard fought, Gojira and Mothra was eventually able to land a critical blow that turned the tie, allowing them to defeat Monster X. At this same time, a fight in outer atmosphere was just about to come to a close as Jet Jaguars and the Gotengo has succeeded in taking down the mother ship of the last invader, the Xilien, and end the long winded war for the planet Earth.

However, their victory was short lived- in their fall, the Xilien activate their suicide bomb and open up a gigantic portal to the rift deep below the planet’s sea, attracting a never before seen force of Destruction…

Kaijune Day 20: Plasma

Urzigatul is a medium sized Kaiju that has one of the strangest biology's that the scientists of the new world have ever studied. It, not he or she, seems to have evolved with no eyes, no teeth and no reproductive organs to identify if it is a member of a species or just the singular bastion of its own kind.

It has a split face that opens into 4 "petals", these act as a refraction prism for the plasma that the beast is capable of spitting. In the instances that Urzi was able to be cut open, regret soon followed, as if oxygen hits the creature's bloodstream, an arching loop of plasma will flare outward and cut through just about anything. Scientists have documented these blood flares as lasting upwards of a day and a half until the beast finally heals.

With such a reputation, most interactions with other Kaiju avoid Urzi, plasma and the blood flares have been proven to be one of the main deterrents of Kaiju.

Kaijune Day 21: Miracle

Kisekuruka is a large mutated dolphin Kaiju that roams the old seas. She is peaceful, and seems to dictate which direction the waters that remain on the planet beneath the new world flow.

They've called her a "miracle dolphin" in some circles, as with her mere presence, the waterways and oceans are thriving again, even after the emergence of the other more violent Kaiju.

Good things just seem to happen around her, scientists are trying to figure out if it's a coincidence, or if it's something to do with her pristine blue skin and the sub atomic particle manipulation that follows her like an aura.

Kaijune Day 24: Albino

Zogekuma is a huge Kaiju that is the armored alpha of his species. They appear to be an evolutionary advancement of the Giganotosaurus theropod.

He is quite territorial and often has run-ins with the more aggressive Kaiju. His armored hide is made of a presently unknown material that rivals all known alloy in durability.

He was in the center of Mexico when the nuke was dropped on him and some of the other emerging beasts. He stepped out of the crater and shook the ash off his body before carrying on.

Zoge has no offensive beams or attacks that are ranged projectiles, but he makes up for it with sheer muscle, a tail that is strong enough to break buildings and a stabbing talon at the tip that has cracked open many tough Kaiju as well.

Kaiju Riders p.11-12

I don't know, i might be having too much fun drawing these action sequences. Krya is really showing these hooligans who they are messing with. It's not that they started the fight with her, but she sure as hell is gonna finish it. Tom is just there for the ride for now, not that he knows what's even going on at the moment.

Kaijune Day 19: Kinetic

Bullwark is a huge Kaiju that roams the plains of the old world, his species is referred to as Kinetisaurs. Their armor is incredibly dense, able to withstand and reflect all forms of physical damage.

Bullwark is the alpha male of his species and has many run-ins with Thrak, Zoku, Eonwa and the absolute unit Lugna. He's been the victor in most cases, as he's just too much of a physical threat to contend with. He has a specialized jet in his back that helps propel him forward and gain momentum, he's been clocked at the upper mach speeds.

Once he gets going fast enough, he's capable of hitting with the force of a huge missile payload. The scientists in the new world believe he's able to get a more powerful yield with more speed, worrying that he could even become nuclear in his impact if he was going fast enough.

Megalooon!

Kaijune - day 17: penetrate 🪲 🦿

After Gigan’s defeat, an alien race known as Zetopyons followed its tract to earth. These beings are benevolent and lawful, planned to hunt down the rouge cyborg with their own creation that they worship as a god, Megalon. However, upon their arrival to the solar system… they suddenly changes course and began an attack on earth...

In truth, such a decision is not hard to understand. The solar system is now overran with powerful and unnaturally unstable kaijus number in the dozens, many of which are too powerful to even confront… Yet, as a race bound by law and order, for them to let such a dangerous place be is simply not an option.

As they look they realized that not only is Earth the source of the chaos, almost every kaijus that roams the planet are destroyers, and each have the power destroy entire planets worth of life forms- along with a massive tear that is barely clogged up with but a single benevolent kaiju. Knowing they are in way over their heads, they deployed Megalon before fleeing to seek help.

Megalon, after being left to on Earth in its pupa state, soon completes its metamorphosis and emerges. Addressing the most destructive threat around, it sees Rodan and made a B line towards its volcanic nest. Surprisingly, Gojira suddenly change course upon Megalon’s awakening and start moving towards the cyborg weapon in search of a confrontation, mistaking it for another cyborg kaiju, Gigan.

Of course, with the order to take out any kaiju it cross path with, Megalon have no qualms with confronting Gojira as well, slamming full speed into the atomic horror and punching a hole right through its torso with the combination of leg strength and drill arms. Ignoring the massive hole in its torso, Gojira began grappling the insectoid cyborg while being pushed for miles upon miles with each jump from Megalon.

different to Gigan who was made to be sharp, fast, and efficient in its killing, Megalon is built to be direct and powerful, fighting by leaping into the enemy and piercing them. Moreover, Megalon’s arsenal are more diverse than Gigan albeit less deadly. From powerful lightning to condensed napalms that explodes on contact, Megalon was more than capable of overwhelming Gojira. Beyond it all, Megalon have a natural power to freeze reality similar to that of Shimo. Unlike Shimo who express this ability in the form of a breath, however, Megalon can only use this ability to put up a flat barrier for a fraction of a second- yet, this barrier can still block all form of attack. With this power, not only can Megalon protect itself but also freeze the area beneath its paws, letting itself jump at full strength and not worry about sinking into the ground.

One would be hard pressed to find a kaiju that can best this juggernaut of a machine… but Gojira was one of those kaijus. With unrivaled regeneration and immense physical strength alone, Gojira was able to take on attacks one would consider lethal- without even letting go, all while slowly crushing the protective shell of Megalon and showering the cyborg with its atomic breath. Megalon, powerful as it was, was lacking in both regenerative powers and resilience, and was soon taking on damage beyond repair.

after a battle that was rather short but of unrivaled intensity, Megalon slump down, having one of its leg, its strongest asset, torn right out of its socket. In a last ditch attempt to take out Gojira, it open its maw to let out a final napalm barrage but was unfortunately hit in turn. Having an atomic breath blasting directly to the mouth, all the napalms within Megalon goes off, exploding itself from the inside out.
