Daily Danganronpa Fun Fact #79

Before completing V3, the background screen for the gallery menu will show one of the 16 students in their default sprite. After completing V3, the background can be Tsumugi with her mastermind eyes. The paint around the screen also changes colors.

Extra Fact: After the first chapter, you can get Shuichi without his hat. He can still appear with his hat, so you could get either version after chapter 1.

Possible Fact (?)

Monokuma and the Monokubs might only appear after completing the game. I was able to get both on my completed file but I checked over 500 (not exaggerating) times on my file where it’s not completed and they never appeared. I say possible because I might just be insanely unlucky. So they might appear beforehand and I just never got them…

also to me even when tokomaru is in an actual relationship, komaru is just the type of person to still point out and talk about people she finds attractive. toko doesn’t care, but i’m just imagining komaru bringing up that hina’s hot and toko getting freaked out. not because she minds, but because it makes her come to terms she’s ALSO into hina now.

replaying dr1 and seeing how nice hina genuinely tries to be to toko warms my heart… stuff like inviting her to hang out with her and sakura, letting her stick around when they’re searching for byakuya, and taking care of her when she passes out during the second investigation. she sounds really hurt when syo is first revealed, no matter how rocky her attempt at a friendship might’ve gone.

i honestly feel with how toko changes around komaru and who hina is as a person, they could eventually reconcile and become actual friends post-canon
