Classroom of Elites is back & I’m so happy!!! I think imma watch the first episode, then wait to binge the season when it’s all out.

This was probably one of if not the most unserious show I've watched. But I'm here for it. The most captivating element of the show is the exaggeration of trivial matters. My favorite example of this would have to be the "buttocks vs breast" discussion Kiyoshi has with the chairman. The use of evolution to justify one's preference is sooooo unserious but it was funny... and kinda made sense. The characters were solid!! I knew Gakuto was going to be my favorite from episode one. I love a man with a plan! He's so selfless and awkward, I love it. Every time he said "yours truly" I thought about J.Cole. But anywaysssss. I also really liked the vice president for some odd reason towards the end. She's funny in a weird way. Like when the student council was celebrating and she had them watch her performance of 50 pull-ups only using her fingers. Like girl why would they want to see that?! This show was amusing. The writing was great and so was the art style. The end sets the stage for a second season and I think I'm excited. I'm leery about the second season because I heard the manga takes a turn for the worst and falls off. So I think I'm gonna read it and see for myself. But I hope not because I've enjoyed what I've seen thus far. I will say it is very ecchi and raunchy. I definitely got my daily dose of titty watching this show. Thanks for reading!!!<3

                  Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan Review

I loved the show. There were many things Uramichi said that struck a nerve for me— in both a good and bad way. For starter during a taping of Together with Maman, Tobikichi pointed out Uramichi doesn’t have any hobbies outside of working out. Uramichi asked Tobikichi what his hobbies were. Uramichi then said, “ you cant say reading or watching movies or listening to music. You see, when a grown-up’s hobbies amount to consuming mass-market entertainment, those aren’t really hobbies, they’re just distractions from their mediocre lives.”.... I felt that. Then later in the show Uramichi is talking to the kids about mistakes and dwelling on the things that could have been. And he says, “We have to look forward and try to find happiness because that is our proof that we made the right choice.”.... I felt that too. There are a few parallels between my life and Uramichi’s life. The biggest one being that we both have to wear a mask for our jobs. I work at Target and our team leader and ETL’s want us to be chipper for the guest. Very similar to Chick-fil-a. And there’s a lot of times I don’t feel the best but I have to act like everything’s peachy kine. I’m very personable, so a lot of my co-workers want to talk to me. And many times I just want to be alone but I’m too nice to say that. So I make small talk and act like everything’s okay.... Anyways!! Iketeru has my heart. He’s so pure but he’s not. Or let me put it like this—He has a pure heart but a dirty mind. He’s such a sweetheart. Mitsuo was the funniest to me. I really like dry humor—which is probably why I like the show so much. The kids were golden too. I kinda wish the show was longer, which is rare for me to say. I  could definitely see this being one of my comfort shows. Thanks for reading!!! <3

                                           Your Lie in April Review

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨SPOILER ALERT🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

This show was an emotional rollercoaster for me. First, let me start by saying I loved the show. I really enjoyed the playful animation and the lovable characters. The supporting characters were great—actually some of my favorite characters were the supporting characters. Seto and Kashiwagi were bad bitches. lol. Anyways lets talk about Little Miss Thang aka Kaori. At first I didn’t like her because I felt like she was causing a rift between Kōsei and Tsubaki. I love Kōsei and Tsubaki together. I mean they've been friends since the sandbox so of course they should end up together. Tsubaki has been there for Kōsei when his mom passed and attended damn near ever recital. Kōsei always knows the right thing to say when Tsubaki was crying. I loved the moments when Kōsei took care of Tsubaki. Like when he carried her when her ankle was hurt and when he gave her some lemonade when Tsubaki had a cold. SO CUTE!! Then along comes Little Miss Thang... Now I will say she can play the hell out of the violin. I won’t take that from her. If I’m being honest, she’s a great character. I just didn’t like her because Kōsei was head over heals for her. I was thinking to myself “Oh she gotta go!!” BUT I DIDN’T WANT THE BTICH TO DIE! But the letter she left Kōsei changed my whole perception of her. Now I think she’s an angel. I love her outlook on life, it’s so pure!! And her story was so touching. Side note: Kōsei was inspiring everybody and they momma! And he didn’t even know it. Ending the anime on Kaori’s letter was a nice touch. It tied everything together for me. While watching this series, there were many times I asked myself “Why is this called Your Lie in April?” IT’S BECAUSE IN APRIL SHE LIED. SHE NEVER LIKED WATARI!!! She only said all of that to meet Kōsei and she didn’t want to come in between Kōsei and Tsubaki. Don’t tell anyone I said this... but Kaori is lowkey the best thing that happened to them. Because she inspired Kōsei to start playing the piano again. And changed the way he played forever. And Kaori and Kōsei’s relationship cause Tsubaki to admit her feelings for Kōsei (and hopefully they’ll end up together). Don’t tell anyone I said this either but I’m glad Kaori told Kōsei she loved him. That letter provided all the closure Kōsei needs to move on. Now he knows his love for Kaori wasn’t unrequited and he played a pivotal role in her musical journey—and her life journey. Kaori was really a gem. This is random but am I the only one who thinks Watari and Kashiwagi would be cute together...just me? Anyways this was a beautiful anime. The way the talked about expressing themselves and telling a story through music was beautiful and inspiring. Thanks for reading!!! <3

Watching Your Lie in April makes me want to start playing piano again. I use to play in high school but I stopped when I graduated. I was looking for pictures of me playing but I could only find this video. It’s me and my partner practicing for our recital. We called ourselves lil primo and young secondo. Shout out to Alfonso !                        Assassination Classroom Review

    🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨SPOILER ALERT!! 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

Yesterday I finished Assassination Classroom and that is an AMAZING show!! There were so many aspects that I truly enjoyed. Starting with the fact that I knew exactly what was going to happen, but was still devastated when it finally happened. The sentence “We are assassins; our target is our teacher.” was a motif used to remind us of the students end goal. However, when the time came for the students to assassinate their target, I WASN’T READY!!! Despite the fact I had the whole duration of the show to get prepared. There was so many things that made Korosensei lovable. Which made it all the more difficult to watch him die. I love the fact that the writers humanized Korosensei by showing his quirks and flaws. Another aspect I really enjoyed was the moments in which they broke the forth wall. From the writers talking to the audience, to the show referencing pop culture. Y’all know I love me some One Piece!! So I really appreciated the One Piece references. My favorite was Korosensei using Gum Gum Slingshot. The Naruto reference was cute too. (lite shade) And don’t even get me started with the gems. There was so many notable quotes said throughout the show, most of which came from Korosensei. My favorite being “The difference between the novice and the master is that the master has failed more times than the novice has tried.” The maturity of this anime is another aspect I really enjoyed. They never shied away from foul language—going as far as commonly referring to one of their teachers as “Professor Bitch”, and casually discussing Korosensei’s porn addition. The show was obviously meant for an older audience while still being considered shonen. All in all this was a fantastic show! It was funny and enticing. The pacing of it was great—y’all know I love a good short anime! This may sound lame but I really felt like I was a part of class 3E. It’s funny because I have to keep reminding myself that this is just a show. Because, yesterday I frequently  found myself thinking “Wow Korosensei is really gone...” AND OMG THE DEATH SCENE?! Talk about a tear jerker! I was crying THE WHOLE EPISODE! I’m glad it ended up being the students who killed him as opposed to the government. And I’m glad he got to spend his last moments with his students. The part when he called the roll one last time—His last words to Nagisa...UGH!! Just beautiful!!  Such a great show!! There is so much more to be said about this amazing show but I’m going to stop it here. Thanks for reading!! <3
