"You know it isn't too late to back out," Matt teased Ace as they walked, an old book in his hands. Somin shot him a look that would crumble buildings. "Sorry," the alpha chuckled softly.

Matt, Somin, and Jiwoo escorted Ace, Set, Di, Aphrodity, and Jay through the secluded woods. The girls spent that evening making sure everything was perfect for Ace and Taehyung. They dressed the men in traditional linen and robes, bare from the waist up, while carrying the strung flower adornments for the ceremony.

Jiwoo stopped at an opening in the tree canopy and pointed, smiling at the full pink moon. "Look! This is why he picked this day, especially for you," she told Ace. "The moon goddess will truly bless you."

Despite his typical carefree nature, Matt was taking his role as a pack elder serious for this occasion. "I think she bias smiled down on all of us tonight." His hold around Set's waist tightened slightly.

Moments later, they were in a private opening where the moon reflected in a small lake. Taehyung waited nervously for their arrival. His pack mates smiled at the ease of his thundering heartbeat.

They weren't known for fancy or extraordinary events, but this was different. This ceremony would bond two people for eternity and welcome them into the pack.

Matt kissed Set on the temple and walked into the lake, waist deep and waited. Somin placed a pink and white flower lei around Taehyung's neck, whispering calming words for the Beta. Jiwoo mirrored the actions with Ace, pinning a flower in his hair to hold his curls back. "You're stunning," she whispers to Ace. "I'm so happy to know you'll take care of him."

J.Seph walked to Ace and took his hands, kissing his forehead softly. "Thank you for showing up," he says, walking him into the summet warmed water.

Matt reads from his book, explaining the importance of packs and, most importantly, the role of chosen mates. These are the people they simply complete each other. They will become partners in every sense.

While Matt spoke, the water rippled around the couple, the pale pink moon shimmering, too. A cool breeze passed through the trees, earning a small happy squeal from the pack Omega. "I knew she would bless them," she says excitedly to herself. Sometime during the night, she had slipped her arm through Di's. "Isn't it so romantic?" She coos softly. "Don't get any ideas," she warns, leaning against his much larger frame.

Haeun clung to Jay and babbled softly. She was more impressed by the pink moon and flowers than the men in the water.

With delicate oils, the couple bathes each other in the moonlit water while Matt continues to read from his book.

Somin squeezed the delicate hand she held and whispered the ceremony steps to Aphrodity. "This is to symbolize new beginnings together. A way to start a new life."

Somin made sure to leave their robes folded on a fallen tree so they wouldn't get wet. "I think this is all for us," she smiled somewhat shyly. Matt had closed his book and left the couple in the water, sharing an embrace.

"You dont know what this means to me," J.Seph whispered against Ace's lips. "You're really part of me now. I love you."
