Living in this era of information, media and the exchange of information from one person to another are crucial in the different pursuits in one's life from business to personal use, to education down to entertainment. The current generations take in a huge amount of information from a wide array of sources, far beyond the traditional media ( such as TV, radio, newspapers, and magazines) of most late generations' youth. There are memes, advertising, viral videos, video games, text messages, social media, and more that influences our personality, adding up our background knowledge, aiding us in communication, and providing us the information we needed. Our lives fully depend on media and information. Without it, our current civilization would not prosper and we would not be what we are today.

I believe the sole purpose of media is in raising awareness in the whatnots/happenings inside (and outside) our community, be it be spread on a simple website, broadcasted on the television or just read on our everyday newspapers. It's goal is to expose everything that is corrupt and acknowledge justice as well an injustice that the community is experiencing in order to create a healthy and prosperous community. Unfortunately, several media and information providers fail to recognize the true essence of disseminating information in media. Therefore, in result they take advantage of our dependence on it (as the highly sophisticated commercialized media knows how to impact the human psyche.) With false information spread across the globe, we will be blinded by corruption and we would not be able to grasp on the truth.

Media and Information plays a vital role in our society as it acts as a mirror to have a grasp on reality and look upon what has our society achieved over the years, how we progressed and will progress.It is the most powerful weapon in todays time to expose and let people know about any wrong political economic or social deeds. But a weapon couldn't work without it's user, for the true power of media and information is in the hands of its user. And the ones who receive it should be literate enough to be able to recognize the falsehoods. As what the great hero Spiderman said, "with great power comes with great responsibility", we must put media and information to good use in order to achieve it's goal and only purpose: to build a prosperous community.

Looking back on how it all started, technology seems dynamic and is continously evolving. Innovation in technology shall never cease unless it reaches the levels of comfort and satisfaction a human can acquire. It has become one of the factors on how we are now different from the past.

Like how the discovery of fire led us to infinite inventions we have and soon will have today.

Technology's main goal has always been to solve problems that emerge in our daily life and extend our capabilities in various fields.

And our life has been at ease as the field of technology become vast while innovations boom from different industries.

But this state of easiness has become a problem, most of us became lazy thinkers and prefer getting the solutions right away rather than sitting it down and start puzzling into solving the problem on your own, just like what people do before technology became so advanced. [we even start to panic when we can't google the answers]

Instead of growing into a better individual, we become stagnant and depend wholly on the technology given upon us.

The further we dig upon the topic of Technology, the more possibilities it might show to us. If not put for the greater good, technology might be the one that will end us. Alarming events like the death of countless people on the Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki has been caused by the invention of nuclear bombs.

Although most are beneficial, we must be wary that technology, if not put to good use, can lead to a life filled with despair. One must be able to realize that technology is something that will lead us to living a quality life not something that will lead to the destruction of many.
