Saw this on a Fifty Shades of Grey poster while out walking. Well played, and understated.

Picture 1: So I decided to see what would happen if I took an epilator to my face. This is what I started with.
Picture 2: 50% of the way through and I'm already starting to notice my lack of beard has made me look suddenly much more feminine.
Picture 3: Look at all the pain this process has caused me. Blood all up in my face. I wonder how my face will look from dead on.
Picture 4: Oops, too far through the maudlin scale.

A remake of George Orwell’s “Nineteen Eighty-Four” that follows the plot and tone of the book exactly, but plays Bowling for Soup’s “1985” over the credits, leaving the audience baffled and wondering if it was supposed to imply a forthcoming, really inappropriate, sequel.

I think people are romanticizing this story a bit. Bernard Jordan didn't leave the care home when they weren't looking, he had full capacity rights, and would leave for the day all the time. The care home tried to book him on a Royal British Legion trip so he could get there, but apparently this process was started really late and there wasn't space.
An old man goes for a walk and ends up in France, causing the people who care for him to worry, because he didn't feel the need to actually let the people tasked with his care know he was going away. There was actually nothing stopping him.
Or...you know... Plucky World War 2 Vet Escapes Oppressive Care Home To Reunite In Remembrance.

Bruce was kicked out of the room during Game of Thrones by the rest of the team because he was getting too worked up.
