Guys I did it. I caved. I made a gravity falls oc😪
My fan canon is that she’s Manly Dan’s cousin from up north. She used to come down as a child to visit her aunt and uncle in gravity falls, once there she encountered strange and abnormal occurrences. Now an adult, she traveled back to gravity falls to see if everything was nothing more than her overactive childhood imagination, or if something supernatural was a foot.
She obviously bonds with Ford because they’re both in gravity falls for the same reason, but also she knows what it feels like to be a fish out of water too. Dakota was an analytical genius in a family of raging lumberjacks. Everyone in her town teased her and she was often left out because her interest didn’t align with the other children. Her and Dan always got along tho:) despite being a nerd, she’s still tough as nails and isn’t afraid to get down and dirty for adventures.
Ford also has a massive crush on her and she acts as his love interest😳 I didn’t realize until later that it has parallels to Dipper and Wendy (but obviously Dakota is age appropriate for Ford so the guy actually has a shot with her)
