when andrew kissed neil on the roof and neil thanked him and left andrew “to his thoughts.” what do you think those thoughts were. he expected kissing neil to lead to inevitable disappointment. he thought he’d get rejected and get to move on and keep hating himself. but neil said andrew had given him a home and kissed him back and remembered andrew doesn’t like to be touched when he grabbed his sleeve instead of his face. he told him if andrew pushed him off the roof neil would drag him with him. he said if you’re going to try to save me then i’m gonna save you too. did andrew wonder if neil would want him to kiss him again? did he recall the pressure of neil’s mouth like neil did andrew’s as he fell asleep that night?
