I really want to focus my work in on advertising via instagram and socials so have begun experimenting with club promotion and incorporating brand and logos into my work, such as the MOËT champagne piece i created - I’m very happy with how this print turned out and i love the whole aesthetic of it and could definitely see it being commercially used via the advertising industry. I feel it really sits well with the whole idea of MOËT as a brand.

As I’m limited in a sense of photography opportunities and external research - I can see myself reaching for using online images from the likes of instagram and Pinterest etc...

Up to now, ive been incorporating my work and progress images as well as the final result here in my online blog. But due to working from my iPad, sometimes my iCloud doesn’t allow me to access my images - so i plan from now on just keep my physical work in my FMP PowerPoint... this is purely to benefit me as id rather just show my step by step work and ideas in my graphics PowerPoint, and just keep my day-to-day thought process’ and ideas, and research etc here in my blog...

Whilst researching into lost soles, i discovered who the graphic designer was for the brand, @graphicsbyamc. Out of all her work my favourite was the horror collection and word tour - i think i will work in her style and even possibly make a collection more in depth, and better than theirs.

Researching into businesses in liverpool that work in the same way as i do by incorporating various elements into one design, portraying quirkiness and coolness within the artwork.
Lost Soles is a clothing brand based in liverpool and works in this way...
I took it open myself to research into the business.

These were the finished products for Billie and her upcoming birthday live stream, both instagram post and story. I am extremely pleased with the finished results and I’m happy that she really likes the pieces. These were both very successful and I’m excited to work with her again with upcoming projects she’s also asked me to work with her on!

We agreed to take my knowledge and ideas and apply them towards the piece, which we did and was successful as she liked my ideas and where it was heading. Once i had made this template for the background i then applied the typo of which she had sent over the details on what she’d like the text to say.

This was my first official draft for billie, however after sending her it, she wasn’t feeling the overall ‘vibe’ it was giving. She wanted more empathis upon the funky and bright ideas she had so she sent various voice notes to me explaining more in detail what type of things she wants in the piece...

After previously saying that Billie Clements / @billioebooby on instagram had contacted me regarding creating a piece, we have further developed on what she would like putting in a post. She has said that she would like both an instagram post, as well as story. Her ideas consist of funky, yet girly and feminine aspects such as flowers the colour pink, and she also stated that she would like some sort of envolement of the disco cherries from a previous piece of mine, and hello kitty. So i begun my first draft for her...

Again, i value what the customer wants, and he decided that he would like a funky background where the piece had a black background cover, so i drafted up a piece doing this!
He was extremely pleased with this draft so he decided that this would be the final piece! I am happy with how this has gone and its clear to see where the development of ideas has come from and has resulted in the final CD cover.

He stated that he would like to see the piece in the colour theme of pink, blue and purple, so i opted to changing this by use of the colour selector tool, this enables me to select specific colours and change them to a different hue.

It was mutually agreed that we both prefers the look of this typo...

So i begun layering both the background of the fifty pound note alongside the GOT THE MONEY typo.
I’m happy with the chosen typo as it has a real funky feel about it and reflects back on my unique way of producing and showing work.
