They really are! I love flowers! Though that probably isn't surprising.

Magical flowers sound amazing! I've never seen a Rivendell poppy in real life, but I've heard they're almost prettier than Overgrown poppies!

Yeah, Rivendell is really cold, so everything there has to be able to survive the cold. The Overgrown isn't cold at all. I love it here, but I'd love to go to Rivendell some day. Mom says I'm too young to go right now though. I don't think I am, but if I argue she won't reconsider.

You're the first person who's responded to my letters! I suppose I should have expected that, Rivendell is the Overgrown's closest neighbour after all.

I've been learning about flowers in other Empires. My books say the poppies that grow in Rivendell can survive temperatures of lower than minus thirty degrees! That's like, really cold! The poppies here don't even like zero!

I saw a butterfly today!!

I wonder what it was doing all the way up here. There isn't many butterflies around Rivendell this time of year. They don't like the cold. Which is perfectly fine, however I don't like the heat, and I never really see any.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but the issue with that is... I can't grow mushrooms. And I can't just go and get some from the Undergrove, 'cause it's not really a gift if you've taken the stuff to make it from the person you're giving it to.

I mean, I could, but I'd have everyone else's done and given to them by the time I have enough, and I don't wanna single Shrub out.

I'm trying to make bouquets for my friends, and I'm really stuck on Shrub's. Everyone else was easy, and usually I can come up with the perfect bouquet for someone in seconds, but whenever I try with her it just looks... wrong.

I don't really have favourites, they're all pretty, but if I had to pick, alliums or lilies. Did you know you can eat alliums? They're garlic flowers. And onions. Just that general food family, actually.
