Need to give a huge shout out and thanks to the guys down at both Pole Elm Garage Ltd, (huge thanks to Patryk) and also Lowes Garage for helping me out in order to get the car road worthy in time for the degree show! Still got a bit to get done; but we’re one step closer for sure. Least the car is road worthy for another year! Thank you all so very much!

degree show prep well underway, stuff moved out, studios painted, walls put up, giant team effort from everyone involved it’s been great tbh. So Monday 14th May, I’m having to prep and get my car ready for. So that’s a thing that’s currently a work in progress and I have the weekend off work to get sorted 😂😩 wish me luck!

FIN. we’ve reached the end of a chapter, after a long, emotional and stressful three years the end is near. Dissertation has been handed in! Now bring on the final push for the degree show 🤙🏻 (at University of Worcester)

Video creation.

Struggling with video editing for the final video! However, it’s coming together very slowly... 

Teamed up with a friend named Tom Mason (Stand Your Ground Records) from Black Wolf Syndicate, he produces and mixes music and will be providing me with a track I can use in compilation to the video; it won’t be played loudly - and I may make it only accessible through headphones due to courtesy of other artists within the space.

Here’s the Answer, What’s the Question? a selection of sculptures, installations and films in the most comprehensive exhibition to date of work by Berlin-based artist Sofia Hultén. Conveying an ongoing preoccupation with the nature of the material world and the way we navigate it. Hultén’s engaging thoughtfulness suggests that things do not have to be as they seem normally in everyday life.

construction is still underway on the little MX5 MK1, it should be up and running and legally on the road come next week if things go to plan! Video works are still in production. As well as dissertation write ups. Research pages and also Reflective Statement. (Awaiting feedback upon those before completion). Not much time left now before the big event is upon us; so saying I’m slightly stressed is an understatement especially with personal issues currently knocking me about too! (It’s not a good time for me; but things are still underway.)

Has got me thinking about ‘transhumanism’ which is a way of thinking about the future that is based on the premise that the human species in its current form does not represent the end of our development but rather a comparatively early phase. - I guess links closely to the ideals of anthromophic ideas, but how can something seem human if we ourselves are ever changing.  “ Your skin becomes the surface that the light seeks if you hold your hand up in front of the projection. “

dissertation write up area has been interesting and very cosy, can’t believe how little time there’s left to get it fully written checked over and bound 😩 stressed is a slight understatement right now
