Read this horrific account shared by Mo Zraiy, which describes the death trap that is disguised as "aid distribution centres" in Gaza:
"It felt like I was in an episode of Squid Game. Thousands - tens of thousands - sleep near the gate waiting for sunrise, because the amount of food being distributed is so limited. I arrived at 2 a.m., and as dawn broke, a quadcopter drone approached the crowd and spoke in broken Arabic: 'You will now enter to receive the food. There is a limited time — you must all leave before it runs out. You must all stick to the time.'
Everyone gets up, taking off their shirts to turn them into makeshift bags for cans of beans and sacks of rice. An employee from the American company waves his hand for people to enter. People rush in screaming — it felt like the Day of Judgment.
We enter a large yard surrounded by iron fences. U-shaped tables are stacked with everything Gazans long for - rice, oil, sugar, chocolate, flour. And because the supplies can only feed a few hundred people, the yard turns into something like a Roman gladiator arena. Whoever loses... their family will sleep hungry tonight.
When the time runs out, the quadcopter comes back again, ordering people to retreat and leave the yard immediately.
No one listens - everyone is busy picking food off the ground. I saw a woman and her child collecting grains of rice mixed with sand, pouring them into a sack they were carrying.
Then an Israeli tank takes position on a nearby hill overlooking the distribution point. It opens fire on the crowds. People scream and run. No one cares about anyone else — they step over the bodies struck by bullets. Everyone is just trying to survive."
This evil is incomprehensible. What fucking apocalyptic hell is this?

As another blackout has occurred in the Gaza Strip I would like to remind everyone that eSIMs are the only way for people in Gaza to communicate with themselves and the only way for them to communicate with the outside world. The only way for journalists and families in Gaza to communicate outside of the concentration camp is through eSIMs donations.

The complete elimination of all US aid to Israel would be a modest, conservative response to their decision to bomb Tehran. A global arms embargo and a crimes against humanity trial for Netanyahu & co. is more appropriate

If you've ever appreciated my posts about LGBTQ issues, this Pride month, as a favor to me, please do something to help my friend Fadel ( @fadel-dani ).
Fadel is multiply disabled. He has thalassemia, a blood disorder, which leaves him incredibly fatigued. The medication he needs costs €400 every month. He has also been in a very serious accident that left his leg paralyzed for a long time, and now he walks with great difficulty.
Tumblr media
Over 550 days ago, Fadel's family home was bombed and he was left with iron shrapnel embedded in his body. The medical infrastructure in Gaza has been decimated and he needs to get to a better-resourced hospital to get them surgically removed safely.
He cannot sleep at night because any movement while asleep causes the shrapnel in his body to move, and causes extremely severe pain. He suffers from PTSD, chronic pain, and insomnia from the bombing.
The people of Gaza, Fadel's family included, are going through a severe famine now. They struggle to afford food, let alone his medication. He urgently needs to raise funds for food, medication, travel costs to get to a hospital who can perform surgery, and ultimately for his family to escape this genocide.
Fadel has spent his very limited energy building relationships with strangers in the hopes that enough of us can help him to raise the money he needs. His campaign is vetted by @gazavetters list (#197), @90-ghost, and @a-shade-of-blue.
What you can do:
Donate any amount you can to his campaign
Make a post about Fadel to share his story and encourage others to donate
Share this post with your followers
Send him a kind message and offer your friendship

Hello, hope things will get better for you. I'm sending an ask since I'm unsure of how to handle donations. Specifically, who to donate to.
I've not just reblogged Palestinian fundraisers since late 2023, but I've been approached by many Palestinians expecting me to donate. Overall, I think it's a ton of people.
Should I work hard to donate to everyone? Or should I prioritize? I know I'm just one person but I'd like to know.
Thank you for reading!
Now that aid is coming in, I highly recommend focusing on mutual aid distribution projects by Ghazzawiyeh for Ghazzawiyeh, over specific families' fundraisers (I do not discourage donating to them! But prioritize this if you can, please). Here's a few I trust or who are trusted by those working on the ground:
MECA.
Mona's mutual aid project.
Sameer Project.
Dahnoun mutual aid.

Can you imagine what our children are going through?
Illness,misery, ignorance, pain,hunger.

Can you imagine your children going through these circumstances? Can they bear all this?
They are children with small hearts. How can they bear all these things without complaining?

In the heart of the siege, even bread has become a dream. 🍞💔
Tumblr media
In Gaza, hunger is no longer just a feeling; it has become a constant companion, a heavy shadow that follows us at every moment.🕊️
My family of 13 has been worn down by the merciless hunger, and searching for our daily sustenance has become a daily battle. ⚔️🥀
Yesterday, desperation and need drove me to go out in search of a loaf of bread.
What I found was not a "queue," but a scene that resembled a battlefield:
Endless crowds 🧑‍🤝‍🧑👩‍👩‍👧‍👦.
Screams mixed with fear 📢😟.
Eyes burdened with pain 🥺💔.
Every step was a struggle against a tide of hunger and humiliation 💨🌪️.
And in the end?
I returned empty-handed, carrying only shame and sorrow. 😔🪫
My children waited for me with small hopes, their eyes asking
Did you bring us bread ?
But I had no answer. 🥖💭

The war is not just in the bombs that destroy homes 🏚️💣,
but in this daily humiliation as we try to secure our basic right: food. 🍽️
This is not a "flour crisis."
It is the voice of an entire community crying from beneath the rubble:
"We are human, don't we have the right to life?" 🌍🕊️
Will there be a day when my children live without fear? 😔🌟
Will the dawn come when we are freed from this hunger? 🌅🍞
Our hope in God still stands 🙏✨, and our call to humanity is:
Wake up, before we become just a memory in the pages of history. 🖤📜

all the palestinians i know are celebrating but also braced for the indiscriminate bombing that will take place until the ceasefire goes into effect on sunday. i don't know if you know this but israel has always bombed the most indiscriminately right before a ceasefire up until the very last second, just to kill a few hundred more palestinians. this was once considered one of its worst war crimes because it is demonstrably utterly unjustified. now it's considered par for the course because the vast majority of the bombing of the past year has been unjustified (even militarily, israel's bank of targets ran out long ago.) but between now and sunday people who have survived 467 days of genocide are going to be desperately hoping to make it until the ceasefire. the bitterness and fear of losing friends and family right before it is a psychological torture of its own.
over the past year i think a lot of people around the world have been sickened by the awareness that a trapped people are being starved and bombed to death as they go about their day. personally i haven't been able to truly enjoy anything without the awareness that for almost every half hour of the past year a child in gaza was killed. a lot of people in gaza have said they haven't had a proper night's sleep since october 7th. this is the smallest demand of humanity and the first thing a ceasefire means, and why it has been so wretched to have to scream and beg for it for over a year. people will be eating and sleeping again. let's just get there, on sunday, and then we can talk about everything else we need to do.

Dear Friend ♥️🌿
I hope this message finds you well. Due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza, we have lost everything—our newly built home and my husband's job. I gave birth to our baby Yamen just three months after the war began, and it is all he has ever known as his future is in real danger.
I would be truly grateful if you could spread awareness about our situation by reblogging the pinned post and, if possible, consider donating €10 or €20. Your support can make a significant difference for Yamen’s future 🌼✨.
Our campaign is verified and shared by:

‏Today's vetted fundraisers
After losing my business, home, and many family members due to the prolonged conflict in Gaza, I’ve been struggling immensely. My friend Mohammed in Belgium suggested creating this link to help mitigate some of my financial losses. I am deeply grateful for any support, no matter how small. I’ll share images showing the destruction of my business and home, which has forced my family and me into a cramped tent. We face severe challenges, including extreme temperatures, inadequate winter preparation, and a lack of essential supplies like medicine, food, and clean water. These conditions have worsened health issues among my family members.

👇👇👇👇👇👇👇
400 days of war and genocide.😥 There is nothing in the markets, and if anything is found, it is extremely expensive.😭 The weather is very cold, and the tents are worn out from the summer heat.🔥 The children scream from the intense cold and the darkness of the night💥. There is no electricity, the water is contaminated, no education, no healthcare, and no medicine.😓 Pregnancy has exhausted me, and I wonder how my child will survive in these conditions if they arrive. There are not even vaccinations or clothes for children.😥 Some of my relatives are covering their children with pieces of plastic to protect them from the cold due to the lack of any income sources.🍉 In addition, the sounds of bombing, gunfire, and drones mimic the sounds of wild animals and screaming to frighten people in their sleep.😔 We don't know how long this suffering will last or if we will truly be able to endure it.😰🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉
We want to reach our goal we still in the beginning 🙏🙏

Every day I worry that my friend Mohammed Ayesh will not be able to find another meal just to get through the day. It has gotten significantly worse as the occupation has collaborated with local crime families in Ghazzah to steal over 109 aid trucks sent in by the United Nations at gunpoint. The occupation protects them and sends them to starve the Palestinian population from the inside.
While Hamas is currently cracking down on the crime ring instrumental to this teamup, 109 aid trucks stolen is a huge amount of aid that has simply been hoarded by the occupation. How sickening that they are resorting to internal proxy warfare after failing to subdue Ghazzah's communities from the outside despite the unending horrific violence imposed on them. Nuseirat is experiencing a famine within a famine. Both of them completely man-made and orchestrated by the zionist occupation.
I don't know what to do or how to help beyond asking you to donate to Mohammed Ayesh's fundraiser so that when the already overpriced aid comes back around, he can afford it and distribute it in his community as he usually does.
