I've been to so many places and Baler is one of the most beautiful place i've been too. It was summer when the family decided to go on a trip, i was happy because Baler is like my dream place. I heard a lot of good things here and there. We left laguna at 1am and we arrived at Baler, Aurora at 11am. It was an exciting travel, i thought we were lost. On the way to baler, we took a travel through the mountains, I was amazed because nature is my favorite. I thought we were lost because I cannot see a single house, it's all trees and mountains. Hours have passed and we reached our destination. Now, im going to share my first experience in this wonderful place.

This is Museo de Baler. This is a museum that tells the history of Aurora Province. It was located in Poblacion, Baler, Aurora. This museum displays artifacts and a lot of paintings painted by the people in Baler. They also exhibit the ethnic groups of Dumagat and Ilongot. Fun fact, Baler was the Spaniards' last stand during the Philippine Rovolution of 1898. Some 50-odd Spanish troops held out in Baler Church during a year-long siege and refused to surrender, not knowing (or believing) that the war has ended.  The Spanish government hailed the soldiers as heroes, while Philippine president Emilio Aguinaldo commended them for their valor and granted them safe passage to repatriate.  That's why if you enter the museum, you can see the flag of Spain.

The next place is called Ermita Hill Baler. This is my most favorite place, it was so relaxing and calm. This is one of the highest place in baler, a perfect pacific glimpse. It was said that tsunami hit Aurora and the survivors went to Ermita Hill Baler. When you visit this place, you can see a statue that symbolizes the family who survived the tsunami. Entrance and parking is free. Ermita hill is the best place to get best of Baler's shoreline, sky, and sea.

This is one of the beach of baler, it was called Aniao Islet. We didn't have the chance to explore the place but it has magnificent rock formations. Base from what I see, the water is clear and it was perfect to take a dip. The locals said that it was advisable to wear sandshoes as rocks are present on the swimming area.

My experience in Baler, Aurora is truly amazing. I felt comfortable talking to the locals because they are kind and they love to entertain tourists. I hope we can visit again soon this wonderful place and I hope you enjoy this travelogue. Come and experience the beauty of Baler!
