Six feisty new additions to the KCPP parvo ward, all lacking a certain appreciation for our lifesaving efforts. But if they've got enough energy to put up a fight, it's probably a good sign, right?

tbt - In December 2012, "Whinny" and "Sebastian" became KCPP's first "inmates" in Cell Block P and launched the shelter's parvo treatment program. Both pups received a "full pardon" and went on to be fine upstanding citizens in a loving home where they got to stay together. KC Pet Project has since proudly treated over 130 parvo pups.

#tbt - This darling duo were the first parvo patients in 2014. We never wish for multiples, but we can’t deny the therapeutic effect of a little sisterly love. “Kit,” and “Caboodle” were lucky enough to be adopted together after their recovery.

"Tink" would like you to know that puppies need vaccinations.  That is all. UPDATE 7/7/14: Sadly, despite our best efforts, "Tink" passed away today.  Her passing reminds us all of the importance of vaccinations and public education about this deadly virus.  May she rest in peace and not be forgotten.  She was loved.
