*waves* As many of you know, I'd decided to take a break from work for a few months after ChOT came out. This signing stop I'm doing in Dublin is my last one for Chain of Thorns; after that I'll be on hiatus for a while. That doesn't mean I won't be back to answer the questions in my ask box; I will! I always love discussing the books with you guys. It just means I won't be around in March (though there will be one newsletter, a sort of hybrid Feb/March update!*) and that I'll be taking a writing break for several more months. I'll still be around off and on online and be updating you about the SoBH Secret Stuff Project.
There are still some tickets available for the Dublin event; If you can't make it to Ireland, though, or aren't lucky enough to already be there, you can watch my last event via streaming — the instructions are on the website here!

So first things first: these gorgeous Infernal Devices alternate dust jackets are sold out. I wanted you guys to see the artwork by Alice Duke because it’s SO GORGEOUS. I love that each cover shows two pairs of characters: Will and Tessa, then Jem and Tessa, then Jem and Will. I love all the details, like the angel wings, the spire of the London Institute, modern day Blackfriars Bridge, the library books and so much more! These were part of the Lost Book of the White box done by @faecrate and while that sold out, here’s hoping we see these again in a future box, right? 🤞😉

Letter Game

Hello, hello! For the next few days we’ll be playing the Letter Game which, really, is just a short story posted in letters across the internet. A while ago I posted the above, which invites all our friends from The Last Hours to a party at Townsends.’ (Is song and dance really a hallowed Nephilim tradition? Not really, but let the Townsends have their fun.) Today we have three letters to read, and more to come tomorrow! I’ll keep you updated or you can follow along on Instagram. :)
Letters of today:
Lucie to Cordelia
Ariadne to Anna
Anna to Matthew

Pop over to https://secretsofblackthornhall.tumblr.com/ to read the first installment! It'll update there every Monday starting August 16 (when you can expect the second post) — the first post is just to give a preview of the story! Expect the characters from TDA — Emma, Jules, Kit, Dru, Ty, Kieran, Cristina, Mark, Diana, etc — and a bunch of history dating back to TID and TLH. It's a serialized novel (that takes place about fifteen months after the end of TDA) that will be posted online for free and have a bunch of multimedia, with contributions from artists like Cassandra Jean, sound files, text conversations, and all sorts of fun stuff. It'll run until next August — and hopefully give us all something to enjoy!
HAVE FUN!
