The End of Mother

Keladrae ached to the bone and also felt empty. Months passed and nothing could take away the memory of what had come to pass. She couldn’t bring herself to go into the nursery, or look at the beautiful fountain that still danced at her bedside table. She sat in her chair by the fire, lonely in her room. Just her breath and the cracking of burning wood filled the room. She wished it did not.

Were it not for Dani, she would have ended herself long ago. Dani needed her more than ever now. But Dani would come home to no baby brother to love, as Kel had hoped she would. They had won, and the final piece of her lover gone. The enemy danced and drank to the death of a child while his mother now grieved far away in the woods of her beloved country that she fought for.

Kel sat in her chair, letters half finished and scattered on the floor. After a long time of being away, who could she call on when they most likely thought her dead too. They had warned her. Azuriann had told her to stay away from Keto. This was the price paid and she was left penny less twice over. Even after years of the man being dead, they had hunted the child too. She was too complacent and she paid that price too.

Kel reaches a hand into the stacked wood and tossed a log into the flames. If she built up this fire, would it finally take her too?

No, Dani needed her. She would not loose Dani too. Instead, she sat on the cold stone floor and stirred the flames.

Maybe one day she would find the courage to go back to her duties. But today was not that day. She was still dead and empty inside.

Search Underway for Missing Nobles

On Tuesday evening, authorities found evidence of foul play against two nobles traveling in the Highlands. The investigation into the apparent kidnapping of Warlund Blackfyre and Lady Loala Addington has begun.

Lady Addington’s carriage was found overturned with her driver and guard slain by arrows. Blackfyre’s guards were also found by the side of the road dead. Investigators believe the attacks happened within an hour of each other.

Both nobles were en route to the estate of Lady Eve Daniels, Lilydale, when they were set upon. Investigator believe both nobles were taken rather than killed.

The Northern High Council has issued a search and rescue operation. In addition, a substantial reward is being offered. House Addington has also begun its own search for their Lady. Lord Reid Addington has asked for any information leading to his sister’s safe return be brought forth immediately.

I need your help!!

So, I've been stewing on this for about a month. I've had a lot going on lately and with this, I may need your guys help. Sometime in early April, my parents and my youngest 5 siblings (I'm the oldest of 14, for those of you who don't know) completely lost their house and everything inside it in some severe storms. I don't exactly live close to them, and thus been transporting myself back and forth for the last few weeks between Cincinnati and Northern Columbus, and even the Portsmouth area. Between these three locations, we've been looking for a new home for them to place on the property until we build a perminant home. We've managed to find a trailor to hold them off until that time and we have the funds for the transport and set up saved up. What I'm doing now is setting up a gofundme account so I can get items to put in the trailor to call it home-- things like household items, clothes for the family, hygene products, etc. If you guys could, please pass this gofundme account around on your social medias (if you have them).
