Nakamura Shugo has a fortnightly program of his own streamed on Nicovideo, Menso~re! Nakamuraya. I watched it for the first time last night and it happened to be about him learning how to surf ^q^ While I’ve heard about his muscles, I’ve only ever seen him in events for Tsukipro and Idolm@ster side M so Shugon in a wet suit was a lovely surprise 8) Also his butt is cute. Half of the screencaps are of his butt. Sorry.

Nakamura Shugo talk event at Ginansai

Osaka City University invited Nakamura Shugo (VA of Kuga Issei) for an hour-long talk show at their school festival, naturally drawing a decent group of his fans. I arrived at the campus with some time to spare as I wanted to check out the students’ exhibits and stalls as well (first time at a gakusai!), but an hour before the show started the seating area was already half full, so I went to secure a seat for myself. It was still pretty decent spot, about 10-12m away from the stage, so I could see everything clearly.

About 20 minutes before the show, the MC’s asked the audience to volunteer questions for Shugon by filling in a form and placing it in a blind box for Shugon to draw from later. I didn’t submit anything as I was too lazy to leave my seat ^q^ Then, about 5 minutes before the show, Drive A Live played over the speakers and there was a buzz among the audience. Everyone chanted “315!!” at the part before the chorus wwwwww As expected, there were a lot of Idolm@ster side M fans in the crowd. And quite a number of guys too! You can tell from the turnout at his events that Shugon is quite popular with the dudes as well due to his huge, sunny personality :)

Honestly I think one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself is to separate your negative qualities from your identity.

Instead of saying “I’m lazy,” saying “I’ve made a habit of not doing work unless it’s absolutely necessary.” Instead of saying “I’m a bad friend,” saying “I haven’t communicated as much as I should with the people I care about.”

By being specific about your problems, and by framing it as an action that you are consciously either working on or ignoring rather than an unchangeable part of who you are, you allow yourself to accept your mistakes and work constructively on them instead of pretending they didn’t happen or wallowing in blaming yourself.

New fanart! A guild member in my Rage of Bahamut guild wants Azazel and Lucifer brotherly love fanart, when they were young. So here it is. In ROB, Lucifer’s initial card (angel) was blue so I thought to design a similar armor but blue. It sorta gives cool and warm feelings.

Here is the original NBC clip of the Suzaki Miu & Kihara Ryuichi’s Olympic performance for “Yuri on Ice” (Piano), which has been their short program this entire season. Ever since they debuted the routine in Detroit (Yes, DETROIT, where Yuuri and Phichit trained with Celestino!) back in July 2017, I’ve been wondering if they will actually make it to the 2018 Japanese Winter Olympics Team and officially bring YOI to the games. Lo and behold, not only did they make it to Pyeongchang, they even managed to score a personal best for this routine with a 57.42 during the Team Event on Friday!

After watching their performance, Kubo Mitsurou mentioned that the pair’s coach, the legendary Sato Yuka/Yuka Sato, actually suggested the track to them. BLESS YOU YUKA.

I keep seeing people linking to the wrong videos (This or this) claiming that it is the Olympics performance - it isn’t! That is actually the pair’s routine from the Four Continents Championships in Taipei back in late January. You can see the signs all over, including in the kiss & cry at the end.

One more interesting thing to note: Suzaki & Kihara will actually skate this SP one more time in Pyeongchang during the actual pairs skating competition. The scheduled date of the SP performances in this event? February 14th, VALENTINE’S DAY.
