Recently did some requests from the MCR discord server. I made sure to add some twists to them.

 Okay so first I gotta say that this one is somewhat of a study of the style of Killjoys: National Anthem (which was illustrated by Leonardo Romero and Jordie Bellaire). I immediately fell in love with the style of this comic when I saw pictures of it floating around online and after finally getting to read through all of it I just really wanted to look closer into the artstyle.

Also Mikey is wearing booty shorts and crocs.

This one went so crazy. I went into this just really liking the picture of him and wanting to do a little study and then I started playing around with the colors a lot and BOOOOOM. I’m really proud of it.

Thinking about adding a text that says “Trust the process” to it, printing it out and hanging it on my wall for motivation since that’s something I really needed to hear while making this LMAOOO

Happy late birthday, Gerard!

I’m a lil late to the party but I’m glad I took my time with this one. I’m actually really proud of this piece because I genuinely didn’t realize how much my rendering had improved over the past while. Also this is kind of a wild piece like what the hell is going on lmao. Hope you like it tho!!!

Killjoys comic fanarts I did the last weeks

Read Killjoys: California and it was very enjoyable! I love these characters so much.

Cherri Cola is such a sweetheart I can’t get over it. And Val is a fun villain and has an amazing design. I really like their ideological conflict although it doesn’t really make sense in my opinion but it’s still fun to watch.

The girl is an enjoyable main character. I really like how she’s basically written as a rebellious teenager and I love her interactions with Vaya and Vamos and her makeovers.

Grayscale challenge with Jack!

Ellooooo I did another grayscale challenge. Basically you pick a random color palette (I generated one from an artwork I made not so long ago), you turn colors on your device off and then you draw using only the values of your color palette.

This is how it turned out!!!

This is the stage I was at when I turned the filter off. I did some polishing and editing after turning it off but this is all I saw until that part.

Actor time

I did an art challenge where I would generate a color palette from the following old drawing of Actor I made over a year ago, turn a grayscale filter on my pc on and draw with only the values and dun dun dun, it’s lookin’, alright.

This was super fun and I learned a lot about shadows!!!
