i also think the nightwing butt jokes are unfunny and annoying but it really kills me whenever someone goes "could you imagine if they did this to a female character??!!?!??!!!" in response. like yeah. i could imagine that actually. what fucking planet do you live on.

its honestly bananas to me that so many on this website seem to assume that someone's tumblr output is an accurate reflection of their real life priorities and activism and all of their beliefs in order of how hard they believe them. like. idk about you guys but i'm reblogging things that i want to reblog not keeping a minute by minute record of my deepest held beliefs. for one thing my deepest held beliefs are mostly not about star wars

bad guy: *lowering me into a pit of piranhas*
me: just so you know that pool is not big enough for them at all and they also don't have any foliage to hide within in order to feel safe and by the way you obviously haven't been feeding them enough if they're ready to rend the flesh from my bone, the water looks scummy, and your pulley system looks extremely unsafe and none of your goons are wearing PPE despite the jagged spikes and open leaky pipes and-
bad guy: *frantically lowering the crank faster* please just die

The way to fix a disturbing number of problems is "Cultivate good habits, and then do them consistently." I do not like this. 😠

there are a lot of undiagnosed adults out there but i do think it's a shame that we've reached a point where having hobbies and interests past the age of 20 is seen as a touch of the tism. i know many older adults who suppress all their childish desires and throw out all their old toys and for what. are you scared of being 'weird' ? who give a shit.

It’s so infuriating that teen smoking rates were at an all time low in the US and we were on track to basically eradicate smoking and nicotine addiction in teens like it was flat out uncool to smoke and then They came out with nicotine injector flash drives that light up and taste like cotton candy. And have lead in them.

what you learn from hobbies:
consistent practice opens up whole worlds of skill that you couldn't imagine
making mistakes in the process of learning is not only natural, it is also essential
activities that you enjoy can give you more energy back than you spent on them
wow everything is so expensive

i think there are prominent enough differences in yelena's personality between her appearances and in the mcu so far because of perspective
in black widow she's a little more unserious, she jokes, she's sarcastic, there's also this essence of a little girl still surrounding her despite the shit they get up to in that movie, basically giving off huge little sister vibes — because the movie centers around natasha and her relationship with her family.
in hawkeye we see her as this cool, mysterious person who's out to get clint, at least when she interacts with kate. she's someone who can be friendly but is serious about her job, because kate has never met her before. but in the final episode, we get to see a little more into her when she fights clint, because natasha told clint about her.
finally in thunderbolts* she's a little more mature, she's less bright and playful than she was in black widow because so many things have happened: ex. the death of her sister. the movie also somewhat centers around her as herself, so we get to really see what's going on in her life. there are moments when we see the funny yelena shining through but she's also going through stuff and i think that's so cool and really great.
