An almost sleepless night - King Kenny 💚

Summary: You’re having a hard time sleeping but Kenny is there to help.

You groan before turning over in your bed for what feels to be like the 100th time this night. You never usually had trouble falling asleep but tonight was different. It wasn’t even like you just weren’t tired, you really were but for some reason you just couldn’t fall asleep.

This wouldn’t be as much of a problem if you didn’t have early morning plans tomorrow. You and your boyfriend Kenny had arranged a gym date for literally like first thing tomorrow or since it was past 12, this morning. One thing about you was that when you were really tried, you had the tendency to be a little bit grumpy.

You decide to send a Kenny a text to warn him you might not be in the best of moods tomorrow. You know he’ll be asleep by now but at least when he wakes up he’ll see it.

You turn on your phone, the light from the screen practically blinding you. You quickly type out a message and hit send.

‘hi baby 💗 ik ur asleep but just wanted to lyk im having trouble sleeping tonight so might be a little grumpy tmr haha xx’

You’re confused to see that pretty much as soon as you hit send that the message says it’s already been read. You assume maybe your phones just glitching and in all honestly, you’re too tired to think about it right now.

You put your phone back on your bedside table before pulling your duvet over your head and shutting your eyes, trying to get to sleep but once again to no avail.

You continue to lie in your bed, now lying on your back just facing the ceiling and before you know it another 30 minutes or so pass.

Suddenly you hear a loud knock on your front door. You’re confused, who is knocking on your door at this time? You try your best your best to ignore the knocking as you believe it’s probably nothing important. Though, this knocking doesn’t stop, it continues getting louder and louder. Then, without out any warning you hear a familiar voice,

“Y/N? Are you awake? Open up!”

Even if you were asleep, you wouldn’t be now. You immediately know this voice belongs to Kenny.

You quickly get out of bed and switch on the light before walking out of your room and down stairs to your front door. As soon as you open the door you immediately see Kenny, holding a plastic bag in one hand and a huge blanket in the other.

“Ken, what are you doing here at this time?”

You say sounding extremely tired.

“I’m here to help you sleep, of course.”

He replies before strolling inside and giving you a quick kiss on the forehead.

You just stand there, completely stunned that he would disrupt this own sleep to help you. No man has ever treated you this well before.

“Come on, let’s go get you to sleep.”

He says before walking upstairs to your bedroom, you quickly follow him.

Before you’ve even made your way through the doorway you see Kenny sat on the bed taking countless things out his plastic bag.

“What’s all that?”

You ask curiously.

“I found a few things in the back of my cupboard that are supposed to be good for sleep.”

He says handing you a bottle of melatonin gummies.

“I think they might be expired but I’m sure it will be fine!”

You hand the bottle back to him,

“I’m like 100% it would not be fine to take expired melatonin.”

You say, laughing slightly.

Kenny rolls his eyes before putting the bottle back in the bag and pulling out another small spray bottle.

“You’re supposed to spray this on your pillow to make you fall asleep.”

He says carefully reading the back of the bottle and giving it a quick shake.

“Let’s try it!”

You say sounding pretty enthusiastic at the thought of actually getting to sleep tonight,

Kenny takes the lid of the spray bottle and presses down a couple of times, spraying a fine mist onto your pillow and bedcovers.

“Hm, that smells pretty nice.”

You exclaim, sniffing the air before opening your mouth wide as a yawn escapes you.

“Looks like it’s already working.”

Kenny says chuckling before speaking once again,

“Oh also! I brought this blanket, I thought maybe you couldn’t sleep cause you might be cold.”

“Aw Kenny, you really do think of everything.”

You say as a smile appears on your face, Kenny is quick to smile back.

You glance at the clock, it’s now way past 2am and you can finally feel your body begging for sleep, though before you can finally drift off, it’s only fair that Kenny goes home and gets some sleep too.

You let out a tired sigh, rubbing your eyes. “Ken, you should go.”

You say looking up at him,

“I’ll be fine. You need your sleep too.”

But Kenny doesn’t move. He looks at you,, his eyes soft but serious.

“I’m not going anywhere,”

he says, voice low. “You’ve had no sleep all night, I’m staying.”

You blink, not really expecting him to say that, and immediately feel a little silly for trying to get him to leave as you should’ve known he’s not going to listen anyway. However, you don’t want him to stay because of you, he needs sleep too.

“Ken,”

you start again, but this time, it comes out more like a laugh,

“You really can’t stay, you need to go and get some sleep.”

You say trying to sound as serious as possible.

Kenny shrugs, that playful grin spreading across his face. “I’m staying,” he repeats, like it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “You need someone to keep you company, and I’m it.”

You look at him for a moment, trying to come up with another excuse to send him off, but when you see the way he’s looking at you with those kind, loving eyes, your protest fades. You sigh, letting your head fall back on the pillows behind you, giving in. “Fine, but you’re gonna regret this in the morning.”

“Don’t care.”

He says as his grin widens. Kenny lies down beside you, though only for a second as then he sits up just a little bit, trying to put the blanket over you both. You can feel the softness of it and the heat radiating from it, and somehow, even though you’re still awake, it makes you feel a little better.

“Come here,”

Kenny says softly, pulling you toward him. “Let’s get you to sleep.”

He wraps his arm around you, pulling you close, and you instinctively curl into him, the heat of his body a welcome comfort. and before you know it, you’re lying down, your head resting against his chest.

You feel his fingers gently stroke your back, and the rhythmic movement of his breath makes your eyelids grow heavier.

“You good?”

Kenny asks, his voice low, the question barely a whisper.

You nod, letting out a soft sigh of relief. “Yeah. This is perfect.”

He hums, clearly pleased with that answer, and presses a kiss to the top of your head. His arm tightens around you just a little, pulling you closer, until you’re both completely tangled in the blanket, wrapped in warmth and quiet. It doesn’t take long for your eyes to go heavy and your breathing to slow down. Suddenly, you hear him whisper, “Sleep, babe. I’m right here.”

You can’t help but smile softly before whispering,

“Goodnight, Ken.”

“Goodnight,” he murmurs back, his voice already softer as sleep starts to pull him under. And with that, the world outside fades away, and you’re left in his arms, warm, safe, and finally asleep.

Summary: You and Sharky have been dating for a couple weeks now but still haven’t told anyone. During filming with beta squad you both decide to flirt a little bit to see how the others would react.

“Ok! Is everyone ready to start filming?!”

You hear Chunkz yell from across the room, everyone yells some form of yes and you all get ready to start.

Today, you were filming with the Beta Squad again, something you often did for their YouTube channel. However, this time the dynamic was different. Since the last video, you and Sharky had started dating, but hadn't told anyone yet, unsure of their reactions. So, you both decide it would be a good idea to flirt during filming to see if the others would notice as well as how’d they react.

This video was a simple one, make a pizza without a recipe. This was a video the Beta Squad had done before with various different dishes. The teams ended up being Niko and Kenny, Chunkz and AJ and then you and Sharky. This arrangement was absolutely perfect for your’s and Sharky’s plan so it was safe to say, you were both pretty pleased with the teams.

The camera was now rolling, the boys were scrambling to make their pizzas and you and Sharky were flirting till both your heart’s content.

“Nice moves you got there.”

You tease as you watch Sharky try and then subsequently fail to spin your team’s pizza dough in the air.

Sharky is quick to respond with an enticing remark,

“Well I am great with my hands, you know.”

“Oh really?”

You question with a slight smirk.

You both look around the room to see if the this comment gained any reaction from anyone but the rest of the Beta Squad was too busy with their own pizzas to notice the subtle exchange at first.

Niko was too focused on putting a shit ton of chilli powder into the pizza sauce, Kenny was preoccupied rolling out the dough and AJ and Chunkz were arguing over how to grate cheese.

You and Sharky just take this as an invitation to flirt even more than originally planned.

“Sharky, what toppings do you think we should add?”

You say, turning to face the array of toppings on the counter top in front of you.

You feel Sharky’s body come up behind you, peering over to take a look at the toppings.

“Hmm, maybe we do a margarita?”

He says as reaches out to grab the cheese, brushing his hand against yours for just a moment longer than needed, turning something that could be accidental into a purposeful action.

“You’re awfully close there. Afraid I’ll pick the wrong topping?”

You ask, looking up at him with a grin.

Sharky leans down just slightly, his breath warm against your ear,

“Nah, just can’t seem to keep my hands to myself when i’m around you.”

“You really love talking about your hands huh?”

You remark, before taking Sharky’s hand and intertwining it with yours, not even trying to be subtle anymore.

Suddenly you hear a loud snort from across the room. It’s Niko, who is clearly catching onto what’s happening, the plan was working.

“Oi, hold up”,

he says, eyes narrowing in suspicion,

“You two are being way too cozy over there.”

You and Sharky exchange a quick, knowing glance, and you can’t help but giggle. “What are you talking about?”

You ask innocently, pretending to focus on your pizza. Sharky is quick to back you up,

“We’re just working as a team, can’t you see?”

“Yeah, a very close team.”

Niko says, raising an eyebrow,

“Is there something you’re not telling us?”

He asks with a smirk on his face.

Sharky shrugs, a mischievous grin appearing on his lips as he speaks,

“Nothing at all. Just enjoying the pizza-making process.”

Chunkz suddenly chimes in from the other side of the kitchen, overhearing the exchange,

“Bro, I’ve been watching you two for the last 10 minutes, the way you’re both acting is definitely suspicious. There’s definitely something going on.”

You both freeze for a second, exchanging glances again, but neither of you can hold it in. You burst out laughing, unable to keep the act going any longer. Sharky joins in, also laughing uncontrollably.

“Alright, alright, you got us.”

You say in between fits of laughter.

Niko raises his eyebrows in surprise, you can tell by his face that he doesn’t know whether to believe you both or not.

“Wait, seriously? You two are—?”

Sharky, still grinning, wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you close as he says, “Yeah, we’re together. Been a thing for a little while now, just didn’t think it was the right time to tell you lot.”

The rest of the squad stands there for a moment, processing the news, but then AJ who has just put two and two together speaks up,

“Oh! That’s why you’ve been acting all…”

He pauses, looking for the right word. “Flirty!”

“Flirty?” Chunkz repeats, now thoroughly amused.

“Bro, you two weren’t just flirty, you were full on acting like a couple. I knew something was up. I just thought you were keeping it a secret for a prank or something.”

Kenny, who had been too focused on his own pizza creation to notice anything before, finally looks over, eyes widening in realization. “Wait, so all that touching and laughing wasn’t just for the camera?”

You grin, nodding.

“Nope. Maybe it was a little over exaggerated but for the most part completely real.”

“It all makes so much sense now. You two are way too cozy to be just friends.”

Niko says with a smug smile, finally accepting this news as the truth.

“Alright, alright, so now that you guys know, let’s get back to the pizza making, yeah?”

Sharky says raising his hands slightly in mock surrender.

“Ok fine, but next time, no keeping secrets you guys.”

Niko says smiling, clearly happy for you both. You nod, playfully rolling your eyes. “We’ll be sure to announce it next time, yeah?”

“Good.”

Kenny says with a grin. “Now, back to the pizza, me and Niko have got a challenge to win.”

“Yeah good luck with that.”

AJ says laughing.

The filming continues and to both you and Sharky’s surprise, nothing had really changed, well apart from a few playful teasing remarks from the other members, all in good spirit of course. The prank had worked for the most part, but now, with the secret out, it feels as though a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. You glance over at Sharky, who catches your eye and winks,

“Guess we’re not just making pizza anymore, huh?”

He says softly, his grin never fading.

You smile, leaning in slightly.

“Guess not.”

Summary: You and Sharky are convinced you’re ‘just friends’ but your actions towards each other tell a different story.

You and Sharky were just friends, you both knew that, but for some reason, no one else could see it.

An example of this was the time you were at the Beta Squad house for filming and everyone was taking a break in between shots.

“Not gonna lie, it’s kinda cold in here.”

Sharky remarked whilst lounging on the couch.

“Yeah, I know what you mean, I’m pretty cold as well.”

You responded, rustling through your bag trying to find your hoodie.

“Hey, no need for that, come over here.”

Sharky said before patting the spot next to him.

“We can keep each other warm.”

He says with a smile.

You lie down on the sofa, resting your head on Sharky’s lap, he immediately starts running his fingers through you hair which he does often, you don’t mind, it feels like a head massage.

Harry Pinero, who has never seen this before is quick to make a comment with a smirk on his face,

“Is there something going on between you guys?”

You look up as Sharky and you both exchange a confused look,

“What are you on about?”

You say laughing before turning over to bury your head in Sharky’s lap.

“Yeah, we’re just friends.”

Shark says agreeing with you. 


Another time was when you had finally hit one million subs on youtube. You had all of the Beta Squad over the day you thought it would finally happen, you had the live subscriber count on your TV screen and everything. You had waited for this moment for so long and the thought that it might finally come was just so exciting.

You were all sat there in your living room for what felt like hours, all your eyes glued to the TV watching the number go up and down, sometimes even just one away from that 1 million mark. You start to doubt yourself, getting lost in your own thoughts, what if you were just getting your hopes up? Maybe today wasn’t the day? Suddenly you were brought back to reality by the sounds of familiar cheering and yelling. You glance up at the screen, you can’t believe your eyes, 1 million, you had hit 1 million!! You yell out, screaming and cheering amongst everyone else, you run over to Sharky, your best friend, he immediately picks you and spins you around

“You did it!!”

He yells to you excitedly,

“I did it!!!”

You quickly yell back, with a huge grin on your face.

You suddenly the room fills with laughter from the other Beta Squad members. You and Sharky both quickly turn to them with a confused look on your faces,

“What?!”

You both say, almost in sync with one another. This just causes the boys to laugh even harder,

“The fact you think you’re both ‘just friends’ is absolutely ridiculous!”

Niko says in between his laughter.

“What are you talking about??”

Sharky is quick to say,

“Bro, you’ve literally got her in the air right now.”

Kenny says chuckling a little,

“I’m just congratulating her!”

Sharky says quickly putting you back down. You’re quick to chime in,

“Yeah, he’s just congratulating me!”

“Sure sure…”

Chunkz says with a smirk on his face,

“Whatever you both say.”

AJ remarks. You and Sharky both sigh, they just don’t get it.

The final straw was the fans also started to realise the way you acted around each other. You and Sharky had filmed a video for his youtube channel and the comments had a lot to say.

You’re at the Beta Squad house sitting in the kitchen with Sharky and AJ whilst looking at the comments from the video you and Sharky posted just a couple days ago.

“Sharky look at this!”

You say turning your phone to face him, Sharky leans in to look at whatever you wanted to show him,

“Look at all the comments on the video we posted!”

Sharky looks at these comments and reads one out loud,

“‘I want a man to look at me the way Sharky looks at Y/N.’ What?! I don’t look at you any kinda way.”

“That’s exactly what I’m saying!”

You respond quickly.

Sharky takes the phone out your hand and begins to read more of the comments,

“‘Sharky and Y/N are such a cute couple.’ Are these people for real?!”

Sharky exclaims before handing the phone back to you.

“I don’t understand why everyone thinks there’s something going on between us, I feel like this happens every time we post together!”

You say whilst scrolling through more of the comments. Suddenly AJ pipes up as he’s been siting there the whole time listing to this conversation,

“Y’know, we’ve been telling you this the whole time and now the fans are starting to see it too.”

You are Sharky are both quick to get defensive,

“We’re just friends!!”

You say quickly, Sharky backs you up saying,

“Yeah, I don’t understand no one can see it!”

“Maybe because you guys literally act like you’re in love with each other?”

AJ remarks which a chuckle.

You and Sharky both respond to this comment with an eye roll.

Let’s be real, you and Sharky weren’t‘just friends’, in fact your so much more then that. Everyone else was right, it was only a matter of time before you both realised it.

- He’d defo be the kind of guy to plan the proposal MONTHS in advance !!

- He really pays attention to you and what you like so you already know the ring is perfectly suited to your tastes 💍

- You would have like NO IDEA it was coming, he really knows how to pull of surprise 😍

- He’d call the restaurant beforehand to let them know cuz he just wants it be perfect for you 🤭

Summary: After a long day of filming with the beta squad, you and Kenny get into a huge argument.

WARNINGS: this one is gonna pretty angsty so be prepared ☹️

“And the winners of this challenge are Y/N and Niko!”

Today you were filming with the beta squad once again, this time it was a cooking video! You wanted to be partnered up with your boyfriend Kenny but the pairs were decided randomly so you ended up with Niko which you didn’t mind at all, Niko was nice, and funny too! Plus he was good at challenges as shown by the fact you guys won!

“Yesss we did it!!!”

You yell out happily, jumping up and down,

“We’re so good!!”

Niko yells out with a big smile on his face.

You guys share lots of high fives and of course a quick celebratory hug.

Everyone finishes filming the video and you all start packing up your things ready to go. You walk over to Kenny and ask if he’s ready to get going, he replies with a simple,

“Yeah.”

You found this weird, Kenny didn’t usually answer like that, his response seemed cold and distant. You decide to brush it off, maybe you’re just overthinking it?

You’re now in the car with Kenny, who’s driving you both home to your shared apartment. The car is silent, not either of you saying a word, usually this silence would be a comfortable silence but today, you could feel the tension.

“Kenny, is something wrong?”

You ask softly. Kenny just shakes his head in response and continues driving, his eyes focused on the road. This only confirmed for you that something was definitely wrong, was it because he lost the challenge today? Kenny was a competitive person due to his boxing but in terms of beta squad, he never usually reacted like this when it came to losing.

You arrive home and walk upstairs together to your apartment. Kenny is still just as silent as he was in the car. As soon as you unlock the door Kenny walks quickly inside, going to your guy’s bedroom and shutting the door behind him.

Ok what is going on?! You think to yourself trying your best to figure out what’s made Kenny so upset. Surely it’s not over the challenge, though that’s the only thing you can think off.

You decide you should just try to talk to him again, maybe now you were home, he’d let you know what was going on.

You quietly open the bedroom door to see Kenny sitting on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands.

“Kenny, is this because you lost the challenge today? It’s totally ok to lose sometimes, you don’t need to be upset.”

You say, walking over to the bed which Kenny was sitting on. He looks up at you and quickly responds, sounding rather annoyed,

“Y/N it’s not about that! You don’t understand.”

“Then tell me what it’s about.”

You say trying to put your hand on Kenny’s shoulder but he pushes it away.

“You and Niko. There’s something going on between you two!!”

You just stand there, absolutely dumbfounded,

“What? Me and Niko?”

“Yes you and Niko! You’re clearly cheating on me!”

Kenny says getting up off the bed.

“Kenny what are you talking about?! I’m not cheating on you with Niko!!”

Kenny just rolls his eyes,

“Yes you are! I saw that hug.”

You’re shocked, that was just a friendly hug because you guys won the challenge, that was it.

“That was just a celebratory hug! There’s nothing going on. If I wanted to date Niko then I would!!”

This response just makes Kenny even more upset,

“So you do want to date Niko?!”

You’re really starting to get angry now, why wasn’t he listening to you?

“That’s not what I said at all!!”

“Whatever, I’m done with this! We’re over!”

Kenny says before walking out the bedroom then leaving the apartment, slamming the door behind him angrily.

You just stand there in the bedroom, tears start to run down your face,

What just happened? You think to yourself sitting down on the bed. Was Kenny serious? Did you just breakup? You didn’t know what to think.

Soon enough, it’s been hours. Kenny is still not back. You decide you need to text him. You love him, you didn’t want this relationship to be over. You write out a quick text, asking him where he was and if he was serious about breaking up or not. You immediately press send and wait for a response.

Ten minutes later and you still haven’t got a reply from Kenny, you’re getting worried now. You decide to check out phone again, just in case. This time you notice the text had been opened 7 minutes ago, Kenny just hadn’t been bothered to reply!

You feel your eyes well up again, more and more tears start to fall down your face and soon enough, you’re properly crying. You didn’t want to admit it but deep down, you really didn’t know if you and Kenny could get through this, you had never seen him this angry before and even if he was, he would always respond to your texts.

You check your phone once more but still, there’s just the one text that had been opened but no reply.

“I guess it’s over…”

You quietly say to yourself as you continue to cry, finally admitting defeat.

Traffic Jam - Sharky 💚

Summary: Whilst stuck in a traffic jam, you end up talking to a pretty cute guy.

“Fuck, I hate traffic.”

You say beeping your horn, though you know this won’t make the cars go any faster.

You’re just trying to get home after a long day of work but now you’ve been stuck in this traffic jam for just over 30 minutes. Well that’s what you get for living in London.

You crank up the radio to at least try to entertain yourself. You sing along to a couple songs before getting bored, opting to stare out the window instead. To your surprise, you make direct eye contact with someone else who is also just staring out the window.

You both just stare at each other for a couple seconds, just taking in each other’s presence. You had to admit, he was pretty good looking. He motions to you to roll down your window so you do. He does the same and you guys get talking.

“This traffic sucks.”

He says sticking his head out the window so you can hear him, sounding slightly fed up.

“I was just thinking that!”

You say, also sticking your head out the window a bit to ensure he could hear your reply.

“What’s your name?”

He yells over to you. You make a confused face as you didn’t quite catch what he asked.

“Your name?!”

He asks again, a little louder this time

“Oh! It’s Y/N.”

You say with a smile, he seems to hear you fine and is quick to respond,

“Nice name, I’m Sharky!”

You guys continue talking, well more like yelling to make sure you could both hear each other as you were in different in cars.

As time passes you find yourself actually enjoying this traffic jam, Sharky was really funny and nice too. It was fun talking to him.

Suddenly you see up ahead that cars are staring to move,

“Hey look, the traffic jam is finally ending!”

You say to Sharky, pointing toward the moving cars.

“Took long enough.”

He replies, laughing a little before quickly speaking again,

“Though, I’m almost glad for the traffic, because then I got to talk to you.”

You both smile at each other but suddenly you hear cars start beeping behind you.

“Oops! Looks like I gotta get going.”

You say, starting to roll up your window,

“Wait!”

Sharky says loudly which causes you to stop,

“Can I get your number? Maybe we can hangout soon?”

You smile once more and nod. He passes his phone from his car to yours and you write in your number before quickly passing the phone back.

“Well, I’ll see you soon!”

You say, though your voice can hardly be heard by the sound of many cars all honking their horns at both you and Sharky.

He quickly waves goodbye before you both roll up your windows and drive away.

Even though you were complaining about the traffic before, you now feel this traffic jam was 100% worth it.

- In terms of kissing on the first date, I feel for him it all depends on how the date goes and what type of person you are. If the date was good, then of course a kiss would be nice but only if you want to!! (I feel this one applies to all the beta squad members as they are respectful gentleman xx)

Summary: AJ finally tells Y/N that he loves her after acting really strange all day.

Your boyfriend AJ has been acting weird all day. He is kinda a weird guy, but not usually this weird.

For example, AJ’s not usually affectionate but you guys do still have morning cuddles in bed. But this morning, there was none of that, AJ was practically glued to his side of the bed, just laying there, facing the ceiling, not even saying a word. If you couldn’t see that his eyes were open, you would’ve thought he was dead.

Then, when it was time for breakfast, AJ just sat there, not eating, not speaking, hardly even blinking! You may as well have been having breakfast with a statue, there wouldn’t be much of a difference anyway.

You were going to work in the office today you so went to get ready, doing your make up, getting an outfit together and packing your bag. Usually whilst you would do this, AJ would follow you from room to room, this was his time to talk to you as you were usually in meetings all day so couldn’t call or text during the day. But today, while you were getting ready he just sat on the sofa, staring at the TV that wasn’t even on!

You yelled goodbye to AJ before leaving, expecting to at least get a goodbye back but it was like he didn’t even hear you.

You quickly leave the house, slamming the door behind you in annoyance. Why was he being so weird? Whatever this was, you just hoped he was back to normal by the time you got home.

You spend most of your work day in meetings as per usual but whenever you had a moment to yourself you found yourself thinking about AJ.

Why was he being like this? Did you do something wrong? What if he was going to break up with you?! You felt your thoughts start to spiral but quickly pulled yourself together, knowing you couldn’t get upset at work. You only had a couple meetings left today and then you could go home and properly talk to AJ about this.

You arrive home, pulling up in the drive way and taking a deep breath before getting out and walking over the front door. You had a really bad feeling, you just wanted to know what was going on.

You unlock the door and walk inside the house to find AJ exactly where you left him this morning, just sitting on the couch, starting into space.

“Ok AJ, what’s actually going on?”

You say loudly trying to get his attention, this seems to work as he finally snaps out of this daze to look at you.

“You’ve been acting so strange all day and I just can’t figure out what I’ve done wrong! Are you angry at me? Are we going to break up? What’s going on?!”

You say, not even realising how heated you’re getting. AJ just looks at you before saying,

“Y/N, I love you.”

You just stand there, absolutely dumbfounded.

“…huh?”

AJ just smiles before walking over to you and wrapping you in a hug.

“I love you. I’ve been trying to figure out how to tell you all day. That’s why I’ve been kinda weird.”

You’re absolutely shocked. AJ Shabeel loved you?

“Really?”

You say confused,

“Yes, really.”

AJ says, sounding very serious,

“I love you too AJ. Just promise to not go acting like that again. It really confused me.”

You say, laughing a little.

First Glance - Chunkz 💚

Summary: It’s your first time at an influencer event and whilst you’re there, someone catches your eye.

“Ugh, I need to get going.”

You say to yourself whilst looking at your watch.

Today you were going to be attending your first ever influencer event which was actually being hosted by youtube. For anyone else, this would be a very exciting opportunity and you really were greatful but you were also super socially awkward and therefore weren’t really looking forward to attending.

You quickly put on your shoes and your lanyard which will allow you to actually enter the event, grab your bag and head off. You get an uber to the venue so you’re there just on time.

You flash your lanyard at one of the security guards at the door and walk inside. You look around and already see so many different types of people, almost all of them have their cameras out, filming this event for their fans.

You walk over to the corner of the venue which has a little coffee van, you decide to just get a drink and sit down.

Whilst sitting your eyes begin to wander, looking around once more at all the people. Suddenly you stop, your eyes landing on one man in particular. He looks to be about your age, he’s pretty tall and good looking too. But that wasn’t all you noticed, he was smiling and laughing with the other people around him. He looked welcoming and kind, like someone you could trust. You usually wouldn’t do this but you felt a strong urge to walk over and strike up a conversation.

So that’s exactly what you did. In all honesty you don’t really know what came over you in that moment. You usually didn’t like talking to new people, you never knew what to say and felt as though you always made things super awkward but you really wanted to try, you just felt things would be different this time.

You walk over to the group of people all talking, and tap this man on the shoulder, causing him to quickly turn around to face you, he flashes you a smile before saying,

“Hey, did you need something?”

Your quick to respond,

“Uh hi! I’m Y/N. I just wanted to get to know a few more people at this event considering we’re all youtubers.”

Am I rambling? I feel like I’m rambling.

You think to yourself, already realising maybe this wasn’t as good of an idea as you originally thought. The man replies, bringing your back to reality.

“That’s a good idea, I should probably be doing the same, I’m Chunkz!”

He says happily. His voice immediately made you feel comfortable and calmed all your worries.

“So what kind of videos do you post?”

You ask him curiously,

“I make videos in a youtube group, The Beta Squad. In all honesty, our content is all over the place.”

He says, laughing a little bit towards the end.

“Oh cool! I think I’ve heard of you guys before.”

This conversation continues for a while, in fact, the event is almost over and you’ve been talking to Chunkz this whole time.

“It’s getting late, I should probably get going.”

You say, readjusting your bag on your shoulder and tuning to walk away,

“Wait! Before you go, could I get your number?”

Chunkz says quickly, causing to you spin back around to face him.

“Yeah sure!”

You say, before taking a piece of paper to write down your number. You hand it to him with a smile.

“Well, uh text me!”

You say turning away, getting ready to actually leave this time.

“Will do!”

He says, waving as you walk away.

As you leave the venue you can’t help but grin. Chunkz seems really nice and he’s cute too! Maybe these events aren’t so bad after all…

Summary: Niko sets up a surprise dinner for your birthday, complete with a beautiful gift.

You quietly walk inside and to your surprise all the lights were still on, just dimmed a little bit.

Aw, that’s so sweet, Niko tried to leave a little bit of light on for me.

You think to yourself as you go to take off your shoes but when you look down, you see a trail of rose petals. You’re confused but also curious.

You follow the rose petals which lead you to the dining room area in your apartment. You immediately see Niko, sitting down at the dining table, smiling at you,

“Welcome home!”

You look around the room, there were even more rose petals all over the floor and there were lit candles on just about every surface. You realised this was the light that you could see before.

“What’s all this then?”

You say, smiling at Niko.

He wasn’t usually a serious person but you could truly see the amount of effort he had put into this, it was super cute.

“This is for you, for your birthday.”

“Oh my gosh, it’s my birthday!”

You reply, sounding very surprised.

You had genuinely completely forgotten, today had just been so busy it completely slipped your mind.

Niko chuckles,

“Did you actually forget about your own birthday?”

“Yeah, I guess so.”

You say laughing a little too.

“Come sit down!”

Niko says, getting up to pull a chair out for you. You sit down, your eyes immediately landing on the plate of spaghetti in front you, spaghetti was your favourite.

“Did you really make this? It looks really good!”

You say, questioning Niko.

“Yes of course, I’m a better cook than you might think!”

He replies, proudly.

You take a bite, you had to admit, it tasted really nice.

“This is really good Niko!”

You say, sounding a little surprised.

“Hey! Don’t sound so surprised.”

Niko replies defensively, your quick to apologise,

“Sorry, sorry.”

You and Niko both finish your food and you go to get up to start cleaning the dishes but Niko is quick to stop you,

“No wait! This can wait, it’s present time.”

He says, pulling out a gift box from behind his back. It’s a small, square box, complete with a red bow on top.

Niko hands you the gift box and you carefully open it.

“Oh my god, Niko! This is gorgeous.”

You say, starting down at the ring in the box.

“It’s a promise ring.”

You quickly slide the ring on your finger, admiring its beauty.

“Thank you so much Niko, I truly don’t deserve this or you.”

Niko looks at with so much love in his eyes,

“Don’t say that, you’re the most deserving person I know.”

Niko gets out his chair and comes over to you, wrapping you in a hug.

“I love you Y/N.”

You blush before planting a kiss on his lips,

“I love you too.”
