Ok. So uh how far did u get in omori if u played? Cuz im pretty sure everything I felt delulu about was in the last scene in memory lane (which was one of my absolute fav parts of the game)

@not-really-a-conjunction since we were lwk going crazy over this I found the scene of them stating Mari and Hero DID in fact work in a bakery

I have no memory of this scene for some reason but uh yay we can rest easy now

ok help i need general like ideas for major plotpoints im kinda outta ideas which is why flashback but I did enough flashback

I’ll try to help, but I can barley think of shit for my own fic 😭

Uhhh ok brainstorm:

Hero + Kel finding out about Sunny’s ED

Chapter(s) about Aubrey (like her dad leaving even tho it’s not conditioned 100% WHEN he did as far as I know) (her bleaching/dying her hair) (her future relationships with the group) (platonic) (general greif shit)

Basil too bc I’m biased and also he would be an interesting character for this fic as well bc with the others (besides Sunny + Basil) we saw how they reacted with thinking Mari killed herself, but since Basil was extremely involved, his grief would be different + would probably carry less guilt than in-game considering he doesn’t have any direct connection to the death

Will Sunny scribble out pictures in the photo album like in game?

I know you said you didn’t want to do another flashback chapter, but, adding a little backstory to the events of Mari offing herself could be interesting (we technically got some of that through her note, but y’know more from her “POV”)

Anything involving Sunny’s violin since it wasn’t broken in this AU

Sunny not being able to face the backyard after the incident

Sunny possibly going back to school and getting pity (etc) from classmates and teachers

That’s about all l can think of rn (I wish I could have nearly as many ideas for my fic 😞 I have like chapter ideas but I need other chapters to be able to properly execute it)

I'm glad you like the fic and everything! Or at least I hope you do! I haven't wrote in years so I may be a bit rusty. as one of the regular readers I'm looking for feedback i guess. i'm wondering how you feel if I took act 2 and made it more narrative and dialogue heavy as the focus is now on mental healing in a separate but connected institution with dr heartwell as the center guy in charge of helping sunny and basil. I would still keep the same writing style and everything , but it's gonna be stuff like therapy transcripts and reports and stuff. Also for the next chapter i'm planning on writing a full incident report on what happened on the roof with sunny and then discharge and treatment plans for them being moved over to the new mental health treatment place. It's the last chapter of ACT 1 so I hope i do it well
