Mornings in the (l/n) household were typically a quiet affair. The toddler slept in till at least nine, and the only reason Kazutora got up at seven most days was to get ready for the day without needing to carry his son around and so he could take over caring for his newborn so his husband, who had been on night duty, could sleep in.

Today was no different. He got up, cleaned up the toys and clothes strewn around the apartment, tended to his daughter when she began fussing at seven-thirty on the dot before putting her back to sleep, did some laundry, did the dishes from last night's dinner, tended to his daughter again when she woke up from her nap and started breakfast around eighty-thirty to make sure (s/n) ate before daycare.

Of course, around nine AM, just on time, the familiar arm of his beloved wrapped lazily around his waist, his hold lazy and loose as (s/n) name leaned against Kazutora's back from his father's hold.

“Ready to eat?” Kazutora prompted as he laid down the spatula he was holding to turn to his partner and child. Taking (s/n), Kazutore leaned in to kiss his husband as he adjusted his hold on his newly acquired accessory, propping the toddler up on his hip to wrap one arm around (name).

“Eat you.” Was the blunt response he got from his tired, shirtless husband, eyes half-lidded with sleep. “No eating daddy.” (s/n) name replied, his voice muffled and just as sleepy as his dads, his face buried into Kazutoras shirt.

“Eat pancakes.” Kazutora decided, and once his boys agreed, Kazutora turned back to his still cooking food.

It took another ten minutes to finish breakfast, and Kazutora relished in the affection from his family as he stood at the stove, his husband's face pressed against the back of his neck, his son's chubby hands clinging to his shirt, forcing him to finish his task with one hand.

And he wouldn't have it any other way.

(l/n) Kazutora was twenty-seven now. He still couldn't believe he'd made it so long.

He had three cats, Mr.Cat, Mama, and Baby, all affectionately named by his son.

He liked boba tea, and he liked the sunshine that spilled through his bedroom in the morning, reminding him he was alive and in the arms of his beloved.

He worked at a petshop with two of his best friends, Baji Keisuke and Matsuno Chifuyu.

(l/n) Kazutora had a husband, he had a son, and he had a daughter.

(l/n) Kazutora lived in a nice, three bedroom, two bath house with two floors and an amazing backyard that he had renovated himself with his husband.

He had grown a lot, been through so much, but in the end, he got his happy ending, and he got to share that happy ending with his family every day.

Nothing was better than that.
