Oh, honestly, I don’t have my own Kimblee shrine yet. I’m still collecting merch at my own pace - mostly prints of fan art or silly little trinkets that remind me of him. Right now, things with his image are scattered around my apartment - here, there, everywhere, lol. I hope in a couple of years I’ll finally arrange a personal space for him, but my house is still under construction for now. In the future, I want to put more effort into creating my own merch, whether it’s hand-sewn plushies or drawings. I’m working on learning to love what I make myself, even if it’s not perfect.

Hmm. I’m not even sure where to start this post. Probably, I just wanted to express gratitude to those who follow my creativity. Over the past year, I’ve received several private messages supporting my work - it was an unexpected experience, honestly. I was confused and slightly surprised because I don’t see myself as special or something like that. I still have a lot to learn and do in the future. The reason I’m writing this is to say - please don’t treat me as someone distant or unreachable. I’m just a regular person, like everyone else. Don’t idealize me or look for authority in me, because I can make mistakes or disappoint you with something. I’m not the best human - I feel envy, get angry, cry, complain over small things, laugh, feel joy, and go through tough times too. I’m just like everyone else - no better, no worse.

For me, creativity is self-reflection, self-expression, therapy, and an attempt to cope with inner struggles, like depressive episodes or self-deprecating thoughts. I know I might seem quiet or distant most of the time, but I’d be happy to talk if you have questions. Huh, when I got my first private message, the person wrote they were afraid to bother me and didn’t know how to start a conversation. I’m not scary or bitey, hahaha :D And I won’t get upset if you’re blunt - no need to filter words to avoid hurting me. Trust me, you’ll have to try really hard to do that (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

I came across this beautiful Lust card. I was immediately asked to sell it in the card-themed community in the first few hours. So she moved to a new house.

FMAB is the BEST at giving villains actual flaws that aren’t just “bluh bluh scary bad man!” Like kimblee?? Most franchises would be like he’s just pure evil (which he is) and leave it at that but hiromu was like nah this man at his core is a COWARD

That scene where the homunculi are talking about potential sacrifices and one of them says what about kimblee and they’re IMMEDIATELY shut down by “nah he’s too much of a chicken to actually open the portal”

Or how in every single fight scene he’s like “shit this guy’s too fast!!!” and so he just blows something up to get out of there ASAP??

Man fully relies on the philosopher’s stone to give him false confidence but has no actual courage and just hides behind the big scary booms without ever facing anything directly head-on

Sometimes I am very afraid of misrepresenting Kimblee's true character. So I treat my drawings as stories that have been through the prism of my vision of Kimblee. After all, there is only one person in the world who truly knows him, and that is Hiromu Arakawa.
