I’m thinking of making some major species changes to my Hidden Magic AU, so I am once again asking for help! You may suggest a species for almost any character of any cast (here is a post with the available species/subspecies you can choose from), excluding the following characters:

+Alejandro and Heather; their chosen species is very important to their lore

+Izzy, Eva, Owen; what they are currently fits them really well

+Cody; I just changed his species to something more fitting, but I’m open to hearing other people’s thoughts

+I would prefer to not change Noah, but I’m open to suggestions too

+The Reboot cast and the RR cast aren’t important to the AU, especially the former, but I still think ideas for the RR cast would be nice to see

+Leshawna; her current species is not necessarily important to her lore, so I am willing to hear ideas, but keep in mind I’m pretty set on what I have

+Would prefer to keep DJ as a centaur, but I’m open to suggestions

+Zoey stays what she is, no debate on that

+Duncan and Courtney; I do have their lore mostly figured out so I would prefer not to change their species (I’m still interested in other ideas though)

+Pretty much a good chunk of the gen 1 cast I suppose, but I’m not entirely set on a lot of them (been thinking of changing Gwen’s species, not set on hers)

Only species you can’t choose from is Human, they are very unimportant to this AU. I am still open to hearing peoples ideas for the characters listed, I just probably won’t change it.

On the topic of this post (taking an OC and giving José a boyfriend), I also gave Carlos a wife! Well, wife in one AU, probably just gf for now in any other universe. Her name is Nyla, I have their ship name in my notes as Nylos. Also! Both Morey and Nyla have basic picrew character designs. They’re not completely accurate, Nyla’s is more accurate than Morey’s, especially jewelry/accessory-wise, but hey! Progress!

(I’m posting their current refs here, but I’m leaving links to their toyhouse pages, since their tabs in the “menu” section have outfit/style refs, and Morey’s page has an old ref that I’m basing him on that’s much more accurate to his accessories)

No one asked for these two, but I’m taking this opportunity to say I’m still taking bingo asks.

I think shipping both of these was an accident. I read a single Krelake one shot and decided I was vibing with it, and now I ship it almost as much as Kreli.

Dunoah, I think it was because I couldn’t ship Noco in my apocalypse AU because they’re in different groups. If I wanted to ship Noah with anyone and have it make somewhat sense, it would have to be someone in his group. The other three options were Mike, Dawn, and Scott, and I just decided Duncan made the most sense. Now it’s literally one of my favourite ships.

For the Dunoah one, in the bottom left, I know there’s more than 9 fics, but in my defence a good chunk of them are smut so I’m not really counting them. And, new ones don’t get published as much as I’d like.

Has anyone done that “are you man enough” trend with IOTS yet? I think it’d fit really well. (Duncan or Chris are great options for this)

How do we feel about a bat subspecies for harpies?

Been considering it, not sure how that’d be logically but it’s cool I think

Or it could be a cousin species? Like how my Fauns and Kitsunes are sort of like Satyrs and Nekos respectively and are probably from the same family but are different enough to be their own thing?

Not entirely sure I want to add another new species to my universe though..
