This is a mushroom playing keyboard for her friends in the mushroom farm. The attached sensors measure electrical fluctuations in the mushroom. The fluctuations are converted into signals that control the mushroom's bionic arms. The keyboard plays a synth in Ableton.

I sometimes feel like a god imprisoned in this shell of flesh watching my parts slowly degrade before my eyes, my bones moving around at the command of my musclesI don't see a purpose to it - why are these parts at my disposal?

Pushing my body around in the service of trying to earn money.

I didn't create these systems of slavery, investments and dividends, public opinion, politics.

It seems like a joke played on all of us for someone's amusement. Why do we continue feigning interest in all these systems of control that only benefit a few?
