Honestly he had not thought the other hostile from the start. Lest he had been blasted on sight. “Truthfully I was trying to reach a friend, but I suppose I was off the mark.” another X on his mental list of ways to find Roland. He just wanted to see the man again, give them a way to communicate once more. But things were never that easy, were they?

“Pardon me, I haven’t introduced myself.” Evan smiled. “My name is Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, and I’m the king of the kingdom of Evermore, it’s nice to meet you sir.”

what’s your underlying motif?

the orange

SWIFT.    falling in love quickly and slowly,    traveler,   the infinity of the bluest sky,    storms,    broken smiles,  forgetting people who used to be your beloved ones,   feeling out of place,   mistrusting people,    a fleeting romance.

CROW.     feeling as if you have seen so much and as if you know a lot,    prejudge,   tight hugs that leave you breathless,    a grey sky,    serenity,   intelligence,   being left behind,   chains,   smoke,    the pride of someone wise.

HEADCANON + Nature !!

HEADCANON + A WORD / PHRASE

Evan actually wasn’t much of an outdoorsy kid growing up, and thus wasn’t too in tune with nature as it were. He was taught by his governess and other teacher, Henny, some basic survival skills and facts about nature as a whole but he didn’t really have a chance to actually go out exploring in nature until the coup surprisingly enough. Going with Roland through the Rolling Hills and traveling through the Canyon was a difficult - but inspirational trip for Evan.

He can confidentially say he loves nature now. He likes being outside, getting messy, laying in the grass and letting the day go by. He even loved being apart of the process of cutting trees down from the forest of Niall and building the foundation for his own kingdom. 

This is also why the restoration of the forest around broadleaf is so important to him. It breaks his heart to see the surrounding area devastated  and near uninhabitable in the name of ‘science’ and actively helps Bracken and President Zip Vector with any kind of progress in the effort to fix the area. He has gone there many times to preform nature magics on the land for the scientists there to analysis and figure out how they might use magic and science together to fix the wrong they’ve caused.The other kingdoms are also helping in this endeavor but Evan is the one showing the most interest.

Truthfully Broadleaf is Evan’s least favorite of the other four major kingdoms because of all they have done for the sake of ‘advancement’, however he still loves the country and admires zip from being able to make a company into a country in the first place. He just has to remember that him and Zip have very different mindsets when it comes to what is acceptable and what isn’t, and they have to make compromises.
