Paysage D'hiver and hardcore music and stuff

hey guys haven't posted in here for a bit but recently i have been checking out more music stuff and i got reminded that it have been quite a while since i tried to check out metal music, i didn't really listen to them for replayability, but in my current musical journey i have come to appreciate many metal acts such as DIR EN GREY, portal, rammstein, opeth and even a little bit of death.

to get to the point, there were a time when i was quite active in a music discord server when i was little wee and the the hardest stuff i had listen to was ac/dc, imagine dragons and the blue train track from Cibo Matto's stereotype A and that was it, of course being in such community i was inclined to learn more about metal music and sort of ask around there.

and in there the one band that was like so widely praised was Paysage D'hiver and well let's just say.... that was not the best starting point to listen to metal music cuz i got my ass kicked so bad, it's like when you play a video game and the game start to give you to fight the hardest boss in the game and had you lose from a game cutscene, in short i was totally wrecked and got a wedgie times infinity, ever since then i have been like working my way up in term of the kind of hard-sounding music i listened to, starting from first really enjoying have heart, like getting really into hardcore/post-hardcore music first and then the more melodic metal stuff like rammstein and a little bit of opeth, dabbles in death and then really getting into screamo (don't say skramz have pride in the word screamo - vegeta) with pageninetynine and then orchid, love lost but not forgotten and city of caterpillar. in between all these steps of journey had, i would revisit Paysage D'hiver each time getting less then before, my ear keep rejecting it's sound and what it had to offer.

recently this night i had been listening to some music, i was checking out stuff i had listened to back then (Seagull screaming kiss her kiss her and some more) they were as good as i remember but at the time i cant enjoy, it was one of those time where your ear is in such a drought that no type of music could get me to move and jiggy with it so i realised i need to cleanse my head with some real good hardcore stuff, i usually listen to have heart or orchid for this but i wanted something longer then those, and that's when i was reminded about Paysage D'hiver and it's self titled album, i tought "damn maybe it's time for me to actually listen to this". i was ready, i had the ears to appreciate it sound, it was the perfect moment for me to check it out at that point.

Guys. it's so fucking good like. i'm not good at explaining but it was like such a weird experience, 5 minute into the first song i had a mental recollection to little old me who had listen to it for the first time, it was like my whole life flashed from 2020 till today, in this desolate and harsh instrument but it didn't give me dread or anything i was just happy to enjoy to listen to music and to be able to understand as to my fellow music fans on their love for this project.

well i guess that's it. just want to share my history and thoughts with metal music, i really do need to get into like judas priest or like black sabbath or something LMFAO also if anyone want to reccomend me shit i'll happily listen to them!

just finished pantheon, i was right about what i could guess from the other half that i could guess, but i was genuinely not expecting that other half LMAO😭😭. its been a while since i watched a tv series properly too (PLUTO doesnt count cuz i already read the manga before i watched it).

i just love this kind of airtights tv show especially the multiple POV stuff (which also why kind of sad that chanda didnt have enough of a driving force as the other two even though he was introduced as one of the three main character in season 1) so like had so much fun watching it and it's all just so beautiful, can't really talk indepth about what happened in season 2 but i was like wowed multiple times there.

well let's just say seeing episode 8 caspian makes me feel things.... ALSO if all my post about pantheon is literally all just about him is intentional, because 1. if i speak other things about the shows my post would be too long and i cant be bothered to make it that long 2. well.... yk hehehehehe ^_^

ALSO ANOTHER THING caspian isnt even top 2 fav characters in pantheon (he's 3rd) all the gushing is just because yk LOL, it's like number one maddie (ofc) and then holstrom because he's just too entertaining, but then again yk they are like... spoiler but you know what i mean so it's just well, you know sure you guys who have watched understand!

P.S. if all my next pantheon post (which will be far and between because i keep changing my topic of the day usually) is about caspian mostly im truly sorry</3 cuz like most of what i post usually anyway is just boy character i liked or BL's haha!

P.P.S. caspian is number 2 now cuz i spend too long making this post and tought again that he looked a little too cute
