How much of sanzu's disfigurement is actually senju's fault? Why doesn't sanzu hold a grudge against Mikey for permanently disfiguring him?
I truly believe Sanzu is just crazy and that's all there is to it.
He reached a level of Stockholm syndrome others can only have nightmares about.
Mikey and Shinichiro fucked that boy up so badly. (Shinichiro only visiting him in hospital to tell him to forgive Mikey and still be his friend was HEINOUS. And then dropping the time travel shit on him just before croaking is HEINOUS. What the FUCK Shinichiro.
Sanzu worships the ground Mikey walks on in exchange for being ignored and mutilated, while attempting to kill Senju for telling a lie when she was basically a baby. That lie led to his scars, yes, but WHO ACTUALLY GAVE HIM THOSE SCARS??,
Definitely not fucking Senju that's who.

think senju bears the same responsibility mikey does for permanently disfiguring sanzu? or is sanzu's disfigurement solely on mikey and mikey alone?
I dont think Senju should bear any responsibility for Mikeys actions.
Sure, she shouldn't have lied about breaking the plane but that's just something that kids do. They lie when they don't want to get into trouble.
Mikey's reaction to the lie? That is not a normal thing kids do. That is some deep mental illness and/or plain malice and cruelty. (Or fucking Dark Impulse or whatever the fuck they say it is).
I have never understood the sentiment of trying to compare Senju and Mikey in this situation.
Senju: tells a childlike lie to avoid trouble. You know, like a child.
Mikey: mutilates and disfigures sanzu for LIFE. You know. Like a psychopath.
HOW is there a debate on whose fault it is??

Suuuuper convenient that they wanna try for continuity now to save face even though this never happened and wasn't in the manga and was a last minute cop out ending

No cause I didn't expect so many people to oppose basic math.
But okay don't worry, I'll explain it to you slowly.
Let's start from the beginning. 26 year old Takemichi went back to his 14 year old body. It didn't matter that he's back in time, he's still been alive for 26 years. Therefore making him 26.
Still with me?
He did Toman shit for around a year or so, so by Bonten Arc he was 26/27 (In his 14/15 year old body). He went back in time 10 years, to his 16 year old body. He's still 26/27 though.
That's when the shit goes down with Kanto and bam, he's back in time again to his 8 year old body.
But He Still Lived All Those Years. They Are Not Erased. He Is Still A 27 Year Old Man. If You Disagree Go Read The End Of The Manga, It Will Tell You. (There's Also Pictures In Case The Words Confuse You.)
Now back to the basic Math.
If he's 27 in his 8 year old body, he's 45 in his 26 year old (present day) body. (For this part I used addition, aka the plus (+) sign on the calculator).
By the end of the Manga, Takemichi has lived for 45 years. He remembers all those years. Therefore his brain is 45. And Yes. Yes it does matter.
Think of this bro. If Season 1 Anime Takemichi had done anything mildly sexual with 14 year old Hina, y'all would be up I'm arms because he's 26! But now all of a sudden it's crack to point out his age?
Past Michi almost got it on with Emma, and when future Mitchy woke up he ran away immediately because he knew that she was 13 and he was 26!
When he accidentally grabbed her boob in the hospital, it gave us all the ick because she was 13 and he was 26!
In early manga days we were all saying "Takemichi as a 26 year old running around with these teenagers, you should be doing a lot more critical thinking."
Even in Chapter (I forgot the chapter) when Chifuyu found out the truth, he said something along the lines of "So you're 26? You're kinda a dumbass though". I won't waste my time looking for the panel, I'm already wasting enough time replying to this shit and teaching 'adults' basic addition)
But when it's time for them to get happily-ever-after-married y'all backtrack so quick.
Like the messages I've gotten, God damn.
Some of you guys are so desperate for this ending to be perfect and happy you literally refuse to think for a second.
If I lost you anywhere, feel free to let me know, I'll start over.
Takemichi is 45.
Hina is 26.
She does not know about this.
But yaaaaay happy ending woohoo.
Okay guys.

It's clear what happened here. We've all been reading different versions of Tokyo Revengers this whole time.
I've tried many times to understand how this ending can be acceptable as 'logical' or 'making sense' or 'happy' and it's just not coming to me.
There are two options here.
The Author was told to wrap up IMMEDIATELY with no warning and he had to cram 50 chapters into 2.
OR
Something happened to the amazing writer that is Ken Wakui and someone else, who's never actually done more than skim the manga, had to finish it off.
I am a huge advocate against attacking Writers because they go somewhere different than I thought. A writers story is their own to do with what they please.
That does not mean I, the reader, am not allowed to question it when those things don't align with everything else we've been told so far. Pairing up a couple I don't like would be one thing, but throwing the entire story and it's meaning in the trash is another.
This isn't just about the characters not being those we've grown to love and care for during the whole story, (which is still a perfectly reasonable reason to be upset), that was to be expected if this ending were to go the Time Leap route.
Just make it make sense. And it is absolutley not doing that.
And before someone starts, no, I'm not opposed to a happy ending. I'm a slut for 'they all lived happily ever after'.
But I value logic and sense more than I value soulless panels of people I don't know smiling and being happy for events that make no logical sense.

The implication that
1: taiju must not have been an abusive asshole?? If all the sibs are cool now?
2:inui's fire didnt happen so ig akane is theoretically still alive but we never see her and I guess no one is truamatized but there's less intense history for them to stay together like glue now?
3: and south, after that childhood just becomes a happy bumbling MMA fighter????
All through the magical curse resolution of dying in your (not) lover's arms is :///
Just every single bad thing was erased?? This eerie everyone-is-suddenly-friends thing is just uncomfortable. You don't have to be friends with every person in your life. Why is this the goal? I-
!
The taiju issue: the thing is, how would it happen any differently when Taiju was an abusive asshole even way before they timeleaped. It's one of my main issues because honestly, it takes a lot from domestic abuse survivors validation that in another timeline abuse just doesn't happen or you just need to be nice and wait until he changes - I was actually very happy that they didn't forgive taiju, especially yuzuha not because she had every right to want him out of his life. The fact he choose to go away on his own and end the situation was such a good way to approach this situation and now they are just happy?
At least give us some backstory to make it understandable :/
Inui and koko: oh this is my biggest issue. Because this just plain out didn't make any sense. They couldn't have known when, where and why the fire started not could they have saved them all so how did this just not happen? Was it all the dark impusles that affected everyone around shinichiro or what? I just-
Koko and inupis whole development, thwir history and redemption arc is destroyed with that? Their history, their love, it's all gone. Fron what I saw they weren't even working together anymore and I swear if they make koko engaged to akane I flip my shit
Why did wakui take away his scar anyway? Because you can't heal from trauma and be fully happy? Because it's only a happy end if no bad ever happend?
Weird message if you ask me
The others: Big fat yes my woman. Look, the S62 amd Izana were still in juvie, they still did all those things and while yes, people can change and especially Izana and kakucho deserve this, the haitani brothers, mochi, shion and south were introduced as people who just love violence and chaos/Gangs. Why are they all noe your friendly neighbourhood dads? Did they just decide to now that there is ko big, bad, crauy alpha male leading them? I really wanna know how this happend. I get the fact they tried to involve every character in the ending but why at the wedding? They could have made them friends that come by or show them all at their work places - that would make so much more sense
