I somewhat wanna do the thing again next year... I don't pay too much attention to the English-speaking fandom, so I'm curious how the popular ships will change over the years.

ah, i see. metakirby. strange, i thought it "wasn't your favorite?". i don't like it very much, but i know you specifically don't see kirby as a child, so i'll take it.

What I consider my favorite tends to depend on my mood. When I made my own submission, it was them. At the time of writing this answer, it's their mirrored versions.

I tend to like the "enemies to lovers" dynamic, which, while they aren't exactly that, they are least remind me of it. Enemies to rivals to lovers?

They also give off "dark and brooding × living ray of sunshine" sort of vibe. It's cute.

What is a bit weird to me honestly, is that I've never met a Kirby fan in real life who hates it (as in, extreme hatred. I consider that to be different from just disliking it). My IRL friends who also love Kirby agree that it's a cute pairing. Which just makes how people online act confuse me even more than it already did.

I also don't like how common it is to make violent comments towards people who like it. I've seen that sort of stuff a lot throughout the years. It's pretty worrying.

Yes, I did submit something myself as well. I wanted as many people as possible to answer, and I'm someone who both makes and looks at kirby ship content myself, so... I'd guess that includes me too!

Kirby in the games has no canon age, and is only referred to officially as 'young'. Just because the most common fan interpretation is that Kirby is a child, does not mean that everyone shares that interpretation. Fanon is not canon, I thought we'd all know this by now.

Mostly because Kirby fans can be scary when it comes to ships.... I've seen death threats get thrown around over people saying Metadede is overrated, I don't like that.

I'm a little afraid of people being mad at me for the results ;; so uh. When I post them, if you don't like them please don't take it out on me. Or anyone, for that matter....
