so we all know about “who the hell is jordie?” “someone i trusted. someone i couldn’t afford to lose”, right, but what we forget is the significance of kaz calling jesper ‘jordie’. it’s not just that jesper is a brother to him- jordie was kaz’s protector. jordie was the 13 year old that protected kaz and who kaz protected, the goofy one who made him smile and bought him hot chocolate at night. he felt safe around him. he trusted jordie with his life. in calling jesper ‘jordie’, kaz shows that subconsciously, he trusts jesper to protect him, that he could turn to him should he need it. and every time he yells at jesper, the gambler who couldn’t stay out of the red, for losing another bet, getting in debt again, all he can see is that same thirteen-year-old boy, swindled out of everything he owned and left for dead on the street. with every word he yells at jesper, he silently urges him to stay alive. with every bet jesper makes, all kaz can think is “i can’t lose a brother. not again.”

Goncharov Lore Thus Far, based on the top tumblr post results
Main cast are Goncharov himself, his wife Katya (née Michailov), and Andrey
One side character is named Mario Ambrosini. He is described as a “sad boi” and is involved in gambling.
Set in Naples and involving a drug ring/mafia. The plot seems to involve Russian organized crime attempting to get a foothold in Italy.
There is a Boat Scene. Katya survives via resourcefulness.
Andrey and Goncharov have a substantial amount of homoeroticism. Andrey also has an internet in Katya. This forms a true love triangle.
At some point, Katya threatens to shoot Goncharov. This is framed as a Girlboss Moment.
There is also a Beer Bottle Scene.
Katya fakes her death.

My friend decided to dm a TMA inspired dnd campaign so I immediately snagged the chance to play my favorite Archivist. This image depicts a young Jonathan Sims, and then the Archivist, the role he becomes.
His backstory of course includes trickery at the hands of the BBEG Elias Bouchard, and a thirst for knowledge that gets him into deep trouble.

What she says: I'm fine
What she means: Do you ever think about the tragedy of Gerard Keay and Jonathan Sims? Mag 153 when Jon said "Gerry wasn't yours." with a snarl to serial killers. How Jon grew fond of him through statements alone "Our Gerard." How lonely Jon was when meeting him, and how every avatar up to that point has hurt him, and how it just gets worse. How the other characters either hurt him or treated him like shit, many times, because of things outside of his control. "I always wanted my friends to call me Gerry." How Jon burned Gerry's page even though it would harm him (through the eye's hatred of lost knowledge, and through the anger of the hunters) because he believed Gerry was a person and deserved better. "Just rest." How they were both kind and did their best to help people despite it all. How they were manipulated into terrible situations because of it. They would have been such good friends. Fuck, maybe if Jon had Gerry to remind him that he is not a monster some marks could've been avoided...maybe they could've had a softer epilogue.
