This this this. Those kids are 21. Conrad hurt their feelings and this is how they cope. Isn’t that ok?

Also they seem to forget Jer also lost his mom and unlike conrad, he also lost his dad since his dad basically hates him. Conrad knows this yet he doesn’t bring up being fired from his job. He just sits in silence and pines for a girl. Let’s his dad mistreat his younger brother. His brother who showed up at the memorial for his mom and spoke up when conrad didn’t even do that. And honestly.. i get conrad. That’s fine, it’s understandable. Conrad is hurting too. But what i don’t get is people bashing jer so hard whilst all he does is love belly, be there for her and craving the approval of his dad & his brother. He certainly has flaws, needs growth and to mature. But so does conrad (& belly) in my opinion.

i’ll never take b0nrads seriously, belly makes fun of conrad for something he said that was insulting to her relationship, and they act like she’s the spawn of satan. meanwhile for all of season 1 when conrad was being mean and vindictive to her, it was fine because he was sad? most misogynistic fanbase i’ve encountered actually

b0nrads have been nonstop hating on belly and jeremiah this whole season, even lola felt sad about it. it’s so telling that it’s always the conrad stans verbally shitting on belly while bellyjeres are the ones defending her and actually care about her as a person outside of conrad. things to think about.

they’re saying belly is regressing, that belly is so much worse this season, that susannah would be disappointed, when belly was having the time of her life at college, is constantly giddy with joy around jeremiah, and found new friends and passions (i.e. finding sport psychology). all that and why? because she hasn’t been obsessed with poor little connie baby 🥺 ? conrad, who never learned how to handle difficult emotions or get over his avoidant tendencies OR ever move on from his ex from four years ago while belly is thriving without him?

riddle me this, if they hate belly so much, WHY do they want her to end up with conrad? it’s always “jeremiah is a manchild” then calling conrad a “baby” in the next sentence. 23 year old man mind you.

I will never understand the pull Conrad Fisher has on those girlies, and I'm saying this as NOT a Jere girl. Whenever you hear from a Conrad fan, pretty much the height of their argument is, "bUt he knows her favorite candy" or "hE tHOuGhT sHE KNEWwww." and I'm like, you cAnNoT think this is a good argument for why he's a better man...You cannot be giving a man this much credit for having the basic skill sets of a kindergarten teacher's assistant and having poor communication skills.

And I get it, he's deeply traumatized and struggling in grief. Believe me... Conrad fans think you must not understand or grasp the weight of what he's dealing with to have an opinion of not liking him. But hear me out, I get it and it doesn't make him complicated or special for this, when every character/person has grief and trauma.

And their relationship is no better in the books; the thing is the argument for him being more fleshed out or even better in the original text is funny, because he's Worrrssse.

The Belly-Conrad relationship is like an immature connection of childhood crush that never expands past giving wet willys to each other in elementary school and pulling on the girl's hair. Fans of the ship are always on about Belly being misunderstood or viewers being misogynistic towards her, but the ship itself requires Conrad to always be the one accomodated to and this poor girl is at the expense of his tumultuous behavior and smug, dumb attitude. "He knows her." He knows the 6th grade version of her and, and he's not even charming! goddddd.
