Hot take but I sincerely don't believe someone "looks bad" bald, with short hair, with a buzzcut or any shorter haircut. I just don't.

Sure, it can be Not your personal style.

But the majority reasonings I always hear are 1. Fatphobia and beauty industry bullshit 2. Insecurities (usually caused by the former) 3. Just mean.

"Oh my face is really wideset and I'm chubby so-" BUZZ that's 1.

"But my head shape is ugly" BUZZ that's 3.

"I'm not that brave haha I'd just look terrible probably" BUZZ and then 2.

As someone who held those beliefs when I was younger and now refuses to grow hair past my EARS, it makes me sad to hear. I know we all like different things but. Can we just frame it as that please. It's so shitty that insecurities have to dictate our appearances even still. I'm not judging you personally if you suffer from this but I hope me saying this will help liberate at least one person in the entire world to finally try out short haircuts. I promise it'll be okay.
