MOUTONDORMENT:

It wasn’t really such a thing he does usually, but it seemed like he had to as he trudged out and manned himself with what seemed to be …. shears? Well, they look overly ornate but maybe because he found it in the very corners of the observatory he housed in as he made his way around the back.

Today was finally the day he had to cut down an excessive growth of vines because it muddied the view of some windows to make it too unbearably dark and it attracted an unruly amount of insects he dared not to touch or comment on, so for the better as he finally was out of his usual attire and tried to roll up his sleeves to do actual housework outside.

All was alright and some of the aged vegetation did fall off the sides of the wall, but the work was halted as something rustled in the bushes. Once was no cause for concern, twice and maybe it was a stray cat, but three times…?

He definitely did froze up, hands a bit clammy as he didn’t really flinch much externally but internally he was just filled with panic. Was it sleep deprivation wracking his nerves about? Was this a cause for concern or just a terribly active animal in the bushes? Halland had no idea so he dared not look back as he tried to chop down more vines, mind more occupied with the sounds behind him but eyeing the corner where it came from but with no answers or explanation.

                         what     was     it     about     scaring     people     that     it     made     it     so     fun          ?          something     kitty     had     considered     to     think     about ,          but     it     would     spoil     all     the     delight     that     came     from     it .          a     bit     cruel ,          perhaps .          just     bothering     a     fellow     who     was     trying     to     tidy     up     a     home     that     looked     to     be     abandoned     for     over     a     century .          the     cheshire     family     was     anything     but     sensible ,          their     only     interest     is     causing     disorder     amongst     anyone     they     can .

                          oh ,          but     this          ?          this     was     too     easy .          from     his     body     language     alone ,          it     wouldn ‘ t     take     much     at     all     to     send     him     into     a     panicked     frenzy .          maybe     then     she ‘ d     finally     have     something     to     brag     about     to     her     dear     mother .

                         with     a     shining     white     grin ,          she     reappears     directly     behind     him     under     a     cascade     of     glitter .
